Man,I thought this was a Jane's Addiction reference.

See some new people are posting that their losing stubs or cards due to a server error.

No offense; but coming on here and posting about it won't rectify the issue.

You need to submit a bug report so SDS will be able to fix the issue.

With all the activity this board will get over the weekend; chances are you post won't even be seen/read by someone that can actually help.

What showdowns could you replay for progress? Other than RIB?

Last year you could replay a showdowns for each division for team affinity players for program points, now it’s just one showdown that gives you xp ONE time

I assume you didn't watch the stream or you watched and didn't pay attention.

They more or less said that people abused TA last year and used it as the main way to get the best cards and that isn't how DD was meant to be.

TA was supposed to be something to play in-between content drops.

Not to play Showdown repetitively so you can complete the program ASAP.

I stated in another post if you were decent enough to skip to the last boss and beat them; you could complete a showdown in 15 mins. If the program was 150 pts long per division and you got 30 pts per Showdown; you you finish a division in a little over an hour.

They wanted to stop that.

But if you're still upset that you can't cheat the system for quick XP; just head to YouTube. I'm sure there are a few videos already, by content creators, that show how you can play the CPU for an hour just by walking in runs and get up to 75K in XP.

You're complaint about having to actually play the game as it was intended instead of being able to abuse the system by playing one thing for hours on hours.

So, I started watching the stream they my console and saw that I wasn't getting any progress towards my pack.

So I pulled it up on my phone and also watched it there.

Eventually got the progress I needed and claimed the pack when I was able to do such.

But low and behold; it's not in my inventory.

Wonder if it's hanging out with the packs I never got from the DD stream?

Maybe they're chilling in the Bermuda Triangle with Elvis and the Loch Ness Monster.

As long as the player meets the rule requirements and you still have the player in your inventory.

Yes, if you want ALL of them NOW you will have to spend stubs.

But if you can wait; they'll eventually be released thought the year.

Does this way seem like a middle finger? Who knows. But I can see why they did it.

They said in the stream that TA took over DD and it wasn't programmed to be like that. TA was programmed as a way for offline players to be able to have something to target while they are playing the game.

If you want to blame anyone because you can't get all 30 of them on night 1 or even withing the week; don't blame SDS for changing it up.

Blame the players that abused Exchanges and Showdowns.

And at least now we won't get the: 'I can't believe everyone has the same lineup' posts.

Go into Packs or Stubs and then exit out.

Can we get a tutorial on how to play this mode?

Only if you have access to a crystal ball or access to Plutonium and a DeLorean.

I'm trying to reserve judgement on the game, but when no DH was announced it really took the wind out of my sails and made me much less excited to play tonight. It's quite ridiculous that MLBTS 22 doesn't follow the rules of MLB in 2022. Side note: Shohei is on the cover and you still can't use his card as a hitter when he's not pitching like in real life, at least in your most popular game mode.

Introducing more randomness into the game is not a good idea. I hate that you've chosen to randomly give players a card from a CHOICE pack. Not only that, but it is impossible to EARN all 30 FOTF cards. This feels like a ploy to encourage stub purchases by making 18 of the 30 cards ONLY obtainable in the marketplace.

It looks like you pulled another Pedro. He was perhaps the most exciting new legend introduced last year and very few people used his card for long. Why did you not learn your lesson? I hope tone down the crazy high H/9 Milestone SP cards this year. If you don't, this card will be very lackluster by the time most of the community is able to obtain it.

Yes, if you want ALL 30 of the new FOTF cards NOW; you'll have to buy them. But chances are they'll eventually be released in future programs, Conquest Maps, etc.

No way they make 18 of them only available via the market. Especially if they're going to do another Mega Collection.

They didn't get rid of the option to unlock all TA players; they're just limiting you to a select few at a time.

That way you don't have someone, that has no life or finds an exploit, get all 30 on the first night.

Don't worry. Once they release packs in Conquest and other programs; they'll all be QS value.

Could be Mini Season games. People can play against other people's DD teams. Like how they did in Extra Innings. So even though it shows his team; he may not be playing.

They seem to be focusing on position players. They could have given the second Cardinals one to Wainwright who had 6 Ks in 6 shutout innings with no walks

My point i'm trying to make is when i picked up my first show in 2011 this was a baseball sim not some arcade fantasy baseball game with Supercharge players for one freaking hit

My gripe with this, and I know they're probably different departments, but they can figure out the coding for a player to have a shiny new border and boosted stats; but they can't figure out the coding to stop a fly out foul ball from freezing an OFFLINE mode to their game or fix the issue with relievers and starters having their energy drained, by two batters, in a 3 inning game.

Put him in. Play the Mystery Map. Get the 500 XP. Collect the 5 free packs; if it takes you that long.
