Is it possible for theme teams to get a new program for the players on the move? I understand that a lot of the FA hitters already have good cards and that’s fine but some fun new bullpen and starter cards would be nice.
So a program that just is a cool edit of the player signed to their new team and counts towards the theme team for that team would make all time teams really fun this time of year. Like the Jazz and Randy cards we got this year at the trade deadline. And again teams that don’t have good bullpens and starters on theme teams would really benefit from a program like this.

I’d like more bullpen cards for theme teams. Some teams are stacked because they have a lot of 97s and 99s that get boosted and others are lucky to have 95s.

Can they add more captains too. We only got S3 cornerstone captains, and no S3 captains. What about S4 cornerstone captains.
Like I see the same 3 captains with Jackie, Corbin, and Cruz.

If the Rays are supposed to be playing at the Yankees spring training complex (word on the street atleast). Can this be the door to start adding all Spring Training complex’s/stadium's? Some use the same stadiums so I don’t feel like it’d be a crazy add but a great add detail wise in the long run.

Can we please pick where we want our 26th man next year?
By letting use pick where our 26th man goes, more rosters and lineups will look different next year with the old format of sets and seasons being gone.
For example, the 26th man is a bullpen piece rn which is why no one really cares. But if there’s a team boost that has better hitters to fill it then it would reasonably to let use pick an extra bench bat. Or in the upper ranks where it’s hard to throw anything and not get wacked around, and you use your pen a lot, a 6th starter (like mlb teams use) to fill the role would be useful. That way you can try a new starter and if he gets shelled you just use that 6th starter instead of having another bullpen game with no stamina.
Also if you think about it, if you’re just picking a 26 man roster Ohtani is your DH and starter. You’d then have room to use both the same bullpen guys and also use the 6th starter and not break the game. This way if SDS does OOP players again, it would make roster construction very fun.

Can there be more animation blending next year for pitchers? SDS, youll showed you can add different arm angles this year. But can there be an option for pitcher windups/stretch’s and arm slots. I think this is useful for guys who make adjustments throughout the year. The guy I have in mind for this change is Sean Manaea. He literally took Chris Sales arm slot. Just would be cool to see As Manaea have his normal arm slot and the Mets one to have the Sale arm slot.
SDS already does it with hitting with stances, leg kicks and swings.

They should have kept the old commentary team just so there were 2 teams in the game for a little spice. Can still make the main guys the main guys but again it would change the game up.
Stadium creator needs more presets so people can easily make stadiums. I want to change the foul territory’s and move bullpens and also I’d like the ability to have more wall props for the outfield. Like for the props; if you have sponsorships in the game, let me use them on the outfield walls and also as props to place around to fill in my designs. Why can’t we just copy an MLB stadiums fences if I like the way it plays and it then presets your field elevation also. Why can’t we put smaller scoreboards in the fences (you can but can be annoying to do at times). Stadium creator is dope but it’s been the same for 2 or 3 years now, it would be nice if they didn’t just only add new props each year but added more to the mode that expands it. Like city backdrops is another way to expand it, added realistic ones from MLB teams that we can use.

You’ll like the Corbin boost then. It boosts reaction time.

@Weshill627_PSN You’re on the DD forum. In general I agree but it’s a win for DD. If they add another game mode to play that’d be the icing on the cake.

Because there’s like no 99s to use rn, (knee slapper) there are a few guys I hope get 99s to make theme teams more fun.
Ranger Suárez (only has a 93 and was a CY candidate for a while this year.)
Kumar Rocker (has a 97 but I feel he could have had a cool pipeline card and a pitch mix that reflects his regular slider and Gyro slider.)
Jack Leiter (96 I think, also a player I was hoping to see get a cool pipeline card so he can get a good pitch mix.)
I also really like to see a few relievers from each team get cards that are deserving. Like Matt Strahm.
If there are other guys you’ll want I want to hear because I want more pitchers that are fun or OOP cards that change the game on the mound a little. A 6’7 submarine throwing Aaron Judge would be funny and fun at this point.

@majoroldschool_PSN when you do get him, try him with the speed team boost (Corbin). His reaction time gets a dope boost and his contact is basically maxed.

@SODMGJT_PSN So here’s a thought champ, it’s a peer to peer game right. So if you’re connection is great cool but if your opponents connection isn’t then guess what, it still affects you. So take a chill pill and understand that when that exact moment happens it’s a connection thing. It might not be you, but it’s definitely connection. It’s happened to me too and I also have good connection, I just stop stealing and hit better.

Has there been any news on the Captains? It is clear that some players the community feels deserves a card did not get one.
Are they live series players only?
Will they be like the 87 packs with 1 hitter and 1 pitcher?
What are we getting?
Is this why SDS pushed the finest news so quickly?

Why not just wait? We don’t even know who the cover athlete is or anything about the game. So why care about when the game will release. Ik 24 isn’t sports game of the year but if they take more time and put more care into 25 maybe 25 is a Sports Game of the Year nominee.

SDS if you’ll give Skenes a third card can you make his pitch mix more like this instead of the other 2 99 pitch mixes you gave him.
I tried in Franchise to give him a more accurate tunnel and I think I made him filthy so just take the one I made.
Keep the Fastball and Splinker thing but hear me out. You’ll have him a 87 slider on his pipeline card- make that a 87 Sluver. Sluvers flatten out at the top of the zone but have drop low in the zone, his slider IRL does that. Both his Sluvers are 84- I changed that is a 84 Sweeper because his breaking ball IRL sweeps. Lastly keep the Vulcan change.
With his arm angle and this pitch mix on HOF, not only does it look accurate to his stuff IRL but he’s disgusting and the S2 one wasn’t as good as the S1 one. So let’s make Skenes great and fun.

Why can’t they just make it like a stadium preset like the grass designs. If there were more presets like stands, bullpens, dugouts, and foul ball territory. Also it would be nice to add team logos to the fields. Like in CF grass or left or right field walls. But also don’t get rid of all the ability to add and move props, a happy medium between more props that can move and more presets to build stadiums easy could make more people use the mode. It could also make the mode more welcoming to newcomers.

I’ve been saying they need to add a 3rd or 4th jersey to the game. Would also be nice to publish the teams in The Vault also for others to use in franchise or DD. Also would be nice to add more logos to the jerseys. Like small ones on the back of hats and neck on Jerseys and sleeves and pants. Would also be nice to have more numbers and last name fonts.
Would be nice to have different team jerseys for the all star games but, the mlb still wants people to buy the all star jerseys so the game will probably rock those to sell the jerseys.
I’d also like the ability to make and edit coaches in Franchise because some teams don’t have accurate coaches. If they won’t do it let us do it then please, or let us add fun custom coaches. Or even elevate a player to be a player coach. The commentators would have more lines to say that would make each game different and more dynamic.

I feel so bad for Pucket, he was in the game for literally 10 minutes as a collection 90overall that no one used. I remember trying him and loving his swing. The fact he didn’t get a 99 that year (or I believe he didn’t) is a shame.

Remember! They are also doing 99 captains. What makes more sense for the Indians, Kwan 99 Captain or J-Ram 99 captain.
