Spent $2500 on the game from launch until being hit with an excessive chargeback on one "99.99 bundle transaction on my phone. A transaction that occurred minutes after I realized that the purchase was citing PS4 stubs and not PS5 stubs.
That one still has me baffled. Unless you have MLB The Show multiple accounts that you use on different consoles then there is no such thing as PS4 Stubs vs PS5 Stubs since Diamond Dynasty is tied to your account and not your console.
That said there is little doubt that SDS Support is slow to respond in most cases. As someone who used to work in IT support I can easily imagine just how overwhelmed they are with tickets. There seems to be a definite disconnect between Sony and SDS also.
But even if they did get back to you they would not move your cards over to a new account. That would defeat the purpose of the ban. At that point it would probably be easier to just unban you.
I hope you get it resolved.
You can’t fix that via chargeback. It’s a terrible way to handle it. Most businesses will ban you if you do that.
