Just failed the AL West showdown for the 6th time. Only advanced past Hendricks once. 6000 stubs down the dunny (not including the rewards of course). I think it says more about me as a player than the game itself, but GD I am sick of flying out all the time.
Still, I'm a sucker. Will try once more and then back to MTO for me to get Gallo.

Don't feel bad man I just went into the final boss challenge against Verlander with 11 runs and lost..... That's the last time I'm picking Clear For Takeoff perk which boosts exit velo on first two pitches because I was swinging and missing early on and his confidence grew and grew.

I know that a player like this shouldn’t make these levels of plays that often, but they can still happen. It’s not like bad defensive players never make amazing plays in the MLB. Also, I feel like people get worked up about one or two of their outs being taken away, when they have 15 or 20 to work with. They need to focus on some mistakes they made and not just that the computer robbed them of 5 or 10 percent of their outs.

I agree, one play here and there isn't going to make a difference and when I lose in showdown is normally because of my own mistakes. It was just a double take moment where I had to pause and see who the hell just did that. Would definitely be nice though if my above avg fielders didn't react and throw to the cutoff in slow motion only to be .25 seconds late on a tag.

David Peralta's FoTF card is amazing. Stats don't look amazing but his swing makes up for it.

Absolutely dude, I needed A's innings so I threw him in there and he kills all pitchers. Something about his swing makes it feel easy to time and hit everything.
