@Grungypunk_MLBTS LS collection is over 2.25 million to complete judge and ohtani are a little over a million that's not 99.9% of the total market value. Ohtani is doing something that's never been done before in the history of the sport and is currently at what 28 scoreless IP as someone who has gone 50/50 before yeah his card is going to be more expensive than trouts ever was and there was never a second gate keepers on judges level when trout was top dog. You're main point throughout this entire thing has been whining and complaining about not being able to complete LS collection in a couple weeks like you used to be able to. No body feels bad for you not being able to complete it within a couple weeks. Users playing the game at all time high plus number of people working the market at an all time high plus 2 players doing things that the sport has never seen before or rarely ever seen = all time high prices. You wanna complain bc they made it harder for you to make stubs by flipping with the card cap. Play the game you'll get better earn more stubs more packs all of which can be put towards collections

@Grungypunk_MLBTS you're talking about a video games economy. If you want to work an economy go to Robinhood that's my point by saying that. Collections within the first month of the game with 3 99s and multiple high 90s doesn't make sense with the way the power creep is going this year. The amount of people trying to flip cards has exponentially increased since 2018-2022. Demand is higher than ever before and ohtani and judge are better than any LS card that was in 2018-2022. LS collection will play longer than any other year this year and everything is up rn bc WC is coming up. It's never been easier to earn packs play the game you'll get better earn more packs more rewards all of which can help you with LS collection. No major pulls and I'll have it done in a month and a half. You're living in the past things aren't what they used to be demand all time high rn.

@Grungypunk_MLBTS that's what happens when you grow the game. Introduce Xbox and to a lesser extent Nintendo users into the fold there's that much more demand prices go up. Completing live series within the first month or two without any top tier pulls is completely reasonable. Prices have gone up bc there's more demand and the LS cards will play longer than any other year w/ mods and inside edge. With the increase in influencers promoting flipping methods the margins are not what they used to be and it's not as easy. If you want to complain about anyone complain about the influencers blowing it all up. Anytime there's a way to exploit a system no matter it is in life it doesn't make sense to continue to allow it to happen coming from an owners pov. So 75% of the community can have LS completed a month in before they even release content above 92. Slower drip on the overalls means LS prices stay high. More people playing DD means prices stay high. There's still plenty of obtainable cards to put together a viable squad for online play

@Grungypunk_MLBTS you claim that LS gatekeepers and overall collection is going to be more expensive than ever. That's bc w/ mods and inside edge those cards will play online until the all star game drop. You say that completing collections for content drops are locked behind pay walls. When in fact half of the content drops didn't even have a collection and the WC collection can be completed to get Garcia by playing the game. You're mad they put a 20 card max on so you can't flip cards and get collections done within the first month of the game. As a NMS player after the first update I'll have LS collection complete it's doable just not as easy nor should be. With the power creep and overalls being way down to start this year having 99s and high 90s in the game from LS collection would ruin the game. Play the game more you'll get better win more earn more stubs more packs more rewards all of which will help you get closer to LS collection. This isn't the early 2010 anymore complain about judge being 500k and ohtani 700k trout wasn't doing what either of them have been doing in years or even last year so of course the gate keepers are going to be higher the players are better. Flipping is possible just not at the quantity and margins as years past which is a good thing. If you want to flip cards aka day trade go download Robinhood it's a video game play the game

The spring breakout collection you didn't have to buy a single card and the egg hunt there is no collection. Play the game earn cards earn stubs earn packs and you'll complete collections. 20 card limit is a big W for the game. I have the AL done another 250k in stubs and 20 of 10 players who should be getting upgrades including 5 golds. Live series cars will be playable in online competitive modes longer this year than any other years past w/ mods and inside edge that's why prices are high. Get on Robinhood short oil make some money this is a video game not a day trading platform

And the 20 card max was a great addition coming from a NMS player with AL collections done 250k in stubs and 20 of shea sanchez cam abreau sandy and several others it's doable

I would respectfully disagree..if you want to knock SDS for servers or gameplay that's valid but the post is about DD content. Live series card with inside edge and mods will play in competitive modes like longer than any other year. The spring breakout could of been completed without buying a single card and there's no overall collection for the egg hunt series which both are Ws. The 40k pxp for the last even was a massive L but having event rewards get people playing the event. The motivation to play ranked is the WC rewards. We will see how the legend collection plays out that might change my tune on this but not having any card above 92 released almost a month after launch is a big W. Mini seasons going to 7 games 3 IPs is a good change as well

Like I've previously said this is a video game..if you want to make money aka stubs by investing go download Robinhood. Complaining about not being able to invest on a video game is pointless. Go complain about servers, the disengagement glitch, haders 2 seamer glitch, or mini season losses. Playing the game more and getting better at the game will allow you to obtain more stubs

They said the update Friday should fix this

@lhubison58 applies to every single person complaining about not being able to invest of flip cards bc of the 20 card limit. This isn't day trading or investing it's a video game play better earn more rewards progress faster. It's still possible to make stubs flipping I made over 600k in flipping over the first week

It's a video game not Robinhood take you're investing elsewhere..play better

He wasnt projected to make opening day roster at launch so he doesn't have a LS card..if you want to play with him use his breakout card. He will be in the first player update not a big deal you still have a card to use if you're a JJ Stan

Play the game you can earn plenty of usable cards for competitive online play just by playing the game. This is a video game not Robinhood

Last year they took away most of the XP for completing a teams collection but at least there was credit towards TA. This year it seems like the only rewards are less than 1000 stubs and the card you get for the collection. Wish they would of kept the TA credit for completing a collection or am I missing something?

This simply isn't true...ohtani was 650k and up and judge was over 500k consistently from the jump and only went up throughout the year bc they kept getting upgrades. Those two are the "gate keepers" the players behind them are a little more expensive it does seem this year but those two are actually cheaper than last year

Completely wiped it's like I havent played a single game in DD at all. Everything is gone wtf happened

Hasn't been an issue until two days ago. I am wired in..my WiFi doesn't go out but I lose connection to the show. Not always but more times than not this is preluded by a message saying I cannot talk to someone in my party on ps5. NAT type 2 tried hard resetting both modem and router tried all 3 ports 1 2 3 in my router to run my Ethernet cable from. Any suggestions?
