I understand the mode is challenging, if you get off to a good start, you can get the pitcher's confidence down. if you wait for enough pitches they will throw it down the middle for easy hits. I wanted to post the video to try and help people.
Alright, fair enough, I probably should not have put easy in the title of this thread. But in all honesty I feel that the mode is fairly easy with the right strategy. I have failed it a few times sure, but I have been able to complete showdown with this method about 30 times now and I know based off the feedback and comments that it has also helped many people out. That was my goal for making the thread and the video, to help others, I'm glad I could help in some way. I always look to keep improving with all of your feedback so thank you, I appreciate it.
I hope everyone is having a wonderful day! I completed the conquest missions and showdown earlier. The first link below will help you with the turn based conquest mission in the 4th inning and the second link will help with the 4th inning showdown, even if you don't use the same method. I am simply trying to help out as many people as possible.

I appreciate it man! I’ve been really busy with my career. I’m a full time high school special education teacher and I create content on the side as a hobby/part time job.
Hello everyone, hopefully you’re all having a wonderful day. I made this video a couple weeks ago explaining how I decide if a pitcher is good to use in MLB The Show 20. I still get asked about individual pitching attributes and I figured I would post this here. https://youtu.be/QtepamKjkp4

Maybe a title like. "Tips for making showdown easier" instead of "Beat Showdown Easy". You are better than a vast majority of people attempting the mode. I was able to complete it and there is no doubt that these are easier than the first batch of Showdowns. I never even came close on the first batch. I think people are also more sensitive here because there are a number of users who, whenever someone complains that they are having trouble with a showdown always shows up in the thread talking about how easy it was, basically bragging on themselves while making the original poster feel worse.

I completely understand, and I never meant the thread to come across as me bragging about playing CPU on veteran. I would never brag about beating the CPU or anyone online at all. I just play the video game for fun and for what it is, a video game. Sure, I’ll get some feedback of people mocking me and saying those aren’t true tips. The confidence meter is the biggest factor in this method by far.
I wanted to post this video to the forum to try and help as many people improve their hitting in MLB The Show. I am not the best hitter by any means but some of these tips might help you make it to the World Series like they have helped me. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uIcGPzrK5Ho&t=6s

For the record the content creator in the video is a nice guy, but he's just creating another clickbait video for views. I mean I guess that's the youtube culture.

I don’t see how the title is clickbait when I showed evidence of the method working. I also never mentioned to subscribe to the channel leave a like or anything like that. I don’t create YouTube videos for views. I create them to help other people with the game
What's up MLB The Show nation, I wanted to post this video to the forum to help people unlock Stage 2 Future Stars fast. I have unlocked 11 of them so far and they are all really good! Thank you!! That means a lot to me! There are a lot of great content creators who make MLB Ts videos. I still have a lot to learn and a lot to improve on.

Are you going to do a POTM prediction video?
I created one where I include all of the options. I talked about a few players I think we will see. Grandal, Laureano, Schoop, and Paxton. Here is the video https://youtu.be/wO0qfn5HTK0

Why did you go left on the 8rh hexagon instead of going straight? Oh wait, was it so you wouldn't chance losing the 'sim'?
Yes that is exactly it. I didn’t want to risk simulating and losing fans. I would rather occupy another territory that is blank to add more reinforcements. Every 3 territories you have you gain one reinforcement
Hey everyone, I wanted to post this tutorial on how to complete the turn based missions in the "symbols" conquest map released today. Here is an example: beating the Cubs before turn two and the Yankees before turn four. https://youtu.be/EFhWDUG-dOM
