Seems to be another case of when a player is overperforming in comparison to previous years then fans want to ignore the previous years and have his card be entirely based on this season.

When a player is underperforming in comparison to their previous seasons then fans want to discount this seasons totals and point to how good they were in past seasons.

But when a player shows up on time for a game he gets a 90+ Topps Now card

He's a rookie with 38 games under his belt. In only 3 updates he has gone from a 64 to a 77.
And you want more? He'll get there if he keeps it up.

Because he was a relative unknown coming into the year and rosters don't update every day? Give it an update or two.

Nice, I'm sitting on a decent amount of packs myself but I'm reluctant to open them due to my last huge pack opening last week where I pulled 1 diamond out of 148 packs (Show, TA and BiaH). It hurt my feelings. Lol

Event ends Friday. Went 20-10 over the weekend to get my 42 and Pee Wee and thankful to be done. Hardly ever used Contact Swing but did load up on guys with Contact ratings > 100 which is key. Diamond Miggy, Doby and Live Series Castellanos and Bogaerts (Inside Edge) were big for me.

So we only have until Friday to get those 42 packs!? Shouldn’t the event rewards remain the same but with new requirements?

Cards you can buy a quicksell value and get 50-100 stubs per flip. They move fast and you don’t have to get in bidding wars.

Aside from Kershaw, they are all very similar which is the reason why i chose them 😉

I thought pushing 200k was too much but basically he is the NL gatekeeper of the LS set. His stats were not all that impressive even with the updates. However, I will say after playing with him a few games last night he plays well above his attributes.

I’ve played the Show for a long time. I sucked with Acuna last year. Not sure what I’m doing right with this year’s Acuna. But he’s been an absolute monster for me. No one else on the team comes close. His LS card this year feels as good as any 99 I’ve ever used. It played great when it still was a 90. It’s hard to get him out for opposing pitchers.

With some of the upgrades last time I wouldn’t be all that surprised if he goes diamond tomorrow. If it were years prior like 17,18,19 I’d be a nah sayer and completely dismiss his chances of going diamond. Though we have a small sample size this year for attribute upgrades, the first update seemed to follow the pattern of updates from last year.

In a nut shell I’m not sure but I wouldn’t bet against a diamond upgrade either

Never mind I just realized Ohtani already got a card this release forgot lol so it will definitely be 99 Acuña .

So when I was ripping packs I accidentally selected Giancarlo Stanton in the AL East Team Affinity...twice. I spaced out and didnt see that I already selected him once before, so I have x2 Giancarlo Stantons and will not be able to select one of the AL East Team Affinity's. Please advise , is there any way possible that I can access the last 42 card for the AL East?

Lol, pretty sure that is a different team.

Anything the relies on reporting back to the server is sketchy right now. It could be that it was lost or that it is stuck in a really long server queue waiting to be processed.
