Finished my WS run tonight and then went back to BR. The game plays so much better on HOF right now. You can actually strike out regularly on HOF. BR is a homerun derby and RNG fest as it stands. It's one of the most competitive modes with the biggest rewards. Put it on HOF.

CS level game. Battled back to tie it up 8-8 after being behind 8-0. Liner/popup to right field. Mike Trout and his gold fielding don't pick up the ball. It gets down for an extra base hit. He drives in that run to go up 9-8 and I lose. I'm now 33-5 in ranked this year so I'm not bad at the game. I don't mind losing if the other player is the one to beat me and not the game, but losing like that is so frustrating.

HOF is almost perfect right now. I think they tweaked pitch speeds in one of the patches again because it's just about perfect. You can get blown away by a high fastball, but only if your opponent sets it up. The pci being smaller is so much better. Sure, you might strikeout more but when you do hit it well you're more likely to get rewarded. It's just so much better. They still have the fielding bugs and what not but HOF solves a lot of issues.

Stinks but I feel less bad for you because you play Gallo at 2nd and haven't been penalized with an error for 25-30 games.

Major League stadiums are terrible. I really wish SDS would address this. Have the seats empty or poorly rendered. That would be better than messing up the gameplay.

I had a guy message me the other day and criticize me after he exhausted his pause time and I took the win. It was in BR and it was tied. I messaged him back and said, whatever. How long do you expect me to wait for you.

Here's another question. Why is Lux rated lower than most of the affinity FS cards? He's like, the 2nd best prospect.

Once he starts "gliding" you can't change directions. It wouldn't let me go back to the ball.

Also, All Star is too slow.

I am not a fan of these ideas for online competitive play.

I use it to get a distance if it's a big homerun. I used it today as Dunn hit one like 484 in BR. If there is another way to see that I'm fine doing away with it.

I'm fine with the check swings the way they are.

My biggest complaint, as someone who also doesn't play online, is that there's so little of any consequence that I can do with these cards once I get them.

It's not just for the card though. You get stubs, xp, stars, and the card can go toward collections.

Is that the 4 seam fastball is the worst pitch in the game.

It disrupts all realism in choosing pitchers and in pitching strategy.

Sinkers appear to move faster than fastballs. Some have argued about spin rate making it seem that way, but the spin on a 4 seamer should be faster than any other pitch.

I don't know if it's spin, timing windows, or what, but...

Make 4 seamers great again.
