Once he starts "gliding" you can't change directions. It wouldn't let me go back to the ball.

That happened a lot to me with Griffey last year.

Yeah this still happens. Was really bad last year. You try to get back on it and it just doesnt let you. It is like getting sucked into a vortex and you lose all control. And the stupid holding up the glove makes it look worse.

I found that happens when you don’t take an optimal route to the ball. It happened 5-6 times last year with 99 Gwynn where I tried to undercut a route in the gap to get to it quicker.
But yeah, that raising the glove animation has got to go.

YouTubeYou gotta be careful not to accidentally hit the hold up your glove button, it’s on you ... Ok ok you got railed bad on that one .... I’ve had that happen before also, it’s maddening when it does....

I think you might be right... I found just playing it safe and getting back on the ball that doesn’t happen... I’m referring to 19, but I’m sure 20 isn’t totally new in that regard ....
