@CoachPappy17_PSN no one cares about your opinion in regards to you cannot stand online. We have all had enough of the offline players complaining. Nothing wrong with players who want to flip cards. I think that makes for a healthy market. Let people do and play how they want.

Ooh, I ran into an forum bully… too bad I’m too old to care, lol.. you have your opinion, I have mine… I’m not trying to censor you, don’t censor me.

I will mention that when people flip cards, they change the market for everyone, they are not letting me play how I want. They are forcing everyone else to play with a manipulated market.

Uninstalled, then reinstalled. Getting xp now and both my franchise and RTTS are still there.

  • No Money Spent people... how you doing?
  • CoachPappy17_PSNC CoachPappy17_PSN

I have all collections completed except the July Lightning, all programs completed, all affinity programs completed through the November voucher and have 155K stubs. I don't do the card market nor multiplayer, just grinding. How are the rest of you doing?

  • Did not receive any digital deluxe extras.

Same here. Paid $100 and only got the early entry

  • Is SDS Tone Deaf????
  • CoachPappy17_PSNC CoachPappy17_PSN

So on the heels of a Glitch Scandal and rampant cheating, SDS release an Extreme Showdown where the average player who doesn't use a cheat code will probably not be able to score 15 runs against HOF. I don't think those with the cheat code will have a problem. So here I am grinding away, not glitching, not cheating, one card away from the live series and 4 sets away from finishing the collections and SDS releases a card I will probably never own. Thank you SDS... much appreciated. Hope the cheat code gang has fun with him.

  • Deluxe Choice Pack - is there a better choice?
  • CoachPappy17_PSNC CoachPappy17_PSN

Go with the series that sells for the most money. Usually that would be a series that is newer. Always take the card that is worth the most in resale, even if you already have that card. You can resell it and then buy a card you need while still having cash left over.

    Update - April Stats in....

718 The Show packs opened, expected diamond pulled with 2% odds is 14-15 diamonds. Actual diamonds pulled was 13. The odds of getting 13 or fewer diamonds is 40.77%. Slightly lower than advertised odds. This results is within norms.

157 Ballin packs opened, expected diamond pulled with 6.7% odds is 10.5 diamonds. Actual diamonds pulled was 11. The odds of getting 11 or fewer diamonds is 61.5%. Slightly higher than advertised odds. This results is within norms.

    Year to Date stats
249 Ballin packs opened, expected diamond pulled with 6.7% odds is 16.7 diamonds. Actual diamonds pulled was 16. The odds of getting 16 or fewer diamonds is 47.7%. Slightly lower than odds advertised. This results is within norms.

1303 The Show packs opened, expected diamond pulled with 2% odds is 26 diamonds. Actual diamonds pulled was 22. The odds of getting 22 or fewer diamonds is 24.0%. This result is lower than average, but not extreme.

I am debating on expanding to find the expected stub gain from opening certain packs. I did a mini study with about 40 the show packs. The average stub gain per pack from those 40 packs was 333 stubs/pack. Well below the 1,500 stub cost of a pack.

    June Totals

646 The Show packs opened in June, expected diamonds pulled with 2% odds is 12.92 diamonds. Actual diamonds pulled was 15. Getting 15 or fewer diamonds lands at the 77.25 percentile. This result is a bit above average, but far from being statistically unusual.

105 The Ballin packs opened in June, expected diamonds pulled with 6.7% odds is 7.04 diamonds. Actual diamonds pulled was 5. The odds of getting 5 or fewer diamonds lies at about the 29.82 percentile. Although below average, this result is within the normal range of random variation, not unusually unlucky

    Overall Totals

@rosborn27 He did you a favor. Boggs just needs to get on base.

  • NO diamond drops!!!
  • CoachPappy17_PSNC CoachPappy17_PSN

Nope, You are confused. While the opening of each pack is an independent event (meaning every time I open an individual pack the odds of getting a diamond in that pack is 1/50), the probability of getting a diamond in a pack does increase with repeated attempts. As you correctly stated, we are talking about probability

  • Pack opening secret!?
  • CoachPappy17_PSNC CoachPappy17_PSN

This happened to me a couple years ago. Just unlucky. I do think the developers found a way to give streamers better odds though. I saw one streamer open up 10 basic packs and he hit on three diamond players in the first 5 packs he opened.

  • NO diamond drops!!!
  • CoachPappy17_PSNC CoachPappy17_PSN

Lets see if this works. The probability of pulling a diamond when you open a single pack as 2%, the probability of pulling a single diamond when you open 148 packs is 95%

  • Extreme conquest
  • CoachPappy17_PSNC CoachPappy17_PSN

I am not an elite player...in my 60's.. beat this on my 2nd try. Strategy...
Goal 1.) Play the two All Star games 1st, then the 6 HOF, finally the 2 legend. This will let you get used to the timing of the pitches and not have to switch back an forth between the levels.
Goal 2.) Steal fans from the last team you must face on turn 2. This will guarantee that you play all the remaining games on All Star or lower levels.
Optional - Stealing after turn2.. It will let you play games on veteran, but losing will make it tougher.

Team make up - Speed/contact with contact/power mixed in. Being able to steal 2nd and 3rd on legend is a must. Have SPEED on the bench

  • Pack odds are manipulated.
  • CoachPappy17_PSNC CoachPappy17_PSN

very unlikely - 1 in 1355 - Not a statement on the OP's post. These are the actual odds. It is a very unlikely event. Happens 1 in 1355 times.

Start with your pci low in the zone, then bring it up to meet the ball. This way you are putting pressure on the pci and you have no choice but to move it. Starting low also helps you get under the ball, less ground outs, less double plays. Start here and practice.

I am the opposite. I have trouble hitting pitches high in the zone but no problem dropping the PCI to the ball. I now start with my PCI at the top and my hitting has improved. I am going to start practicing starting with the PCI high and inside since I hit outside pitches better than inside pitches.
