Likewise. I just played a game at Coors and everybody on my team was hitting doubles. It was comical. But not Jackie. I'm sure it was my dumb hitting, but it made me laugh.
How does somebody cause lag?
I played a game last night where the lag when I was pitching was awful. For the most part it was just annoying, but a couple times it caused me to miss a pitch or have slow reaction on a hit. It happened throughout the game and only that game. The rest of the night things were "normal".
I just started using it last night. I'm an awful batter in RS and have been trying different things just to make contact. It's that bad. Switching to actually using the contact hitting button has helped. I even hit a HR with Eddie Mathews using it.

well said mate.....and yea, I can certainly identify with all you said. Constantly hovering back and forth either side of 400. Can't hit a fastball to save my life.....really want to get better but feel frustrated and hopeless when I finish a game with only a couple of hits. I'm intrigued to see whether I can get better with a monitor but not sure if I can commit to that.....but as you say, I accept that I need to improve and don't want to blame the game as the guys I play against seem to be able to hit. I'm just not sure how they do it....I genuinely can't fathom how some of these pitches are hittable.
The monitor may help, but I'm not sure. I'm using a 2 ms monitor, for what that's worth.

I already do this and still I can't find a good match. I suspect it's becuase I'm pretty far down the skill ladder and there just aren't good matches to be had. I'm [censored], sitting down at 397, and my rating won't go down even after a bunch of losses. If I occasionally get a win, it pops up well over 400 and that's about the last thing I want. So I don't play much but I really want to.
My only hope is I'll learn to hit, which is the biggest issue I have. I can hit on All-star vs CPU decently. At least enough to win most of those games. But in RS it's like a different world. Better pitchers, less predictability, and it just seems faster. I'm always late on fastballs and early on everything else.

I am awful with him both on and off line. I'm not a good hitter in general, but with him it is compounded. I don't know why that card is not working. I have choose poorly.

Do stats count in a friendly quit? I know the win/loss isn't registered. But what about all the stat grinding for different missions, such as XBH, strike outs, etc?
My understanding is none of it counts.

You have no game against the Cardinals in the last week in your game history... It has to be in Play vs CPU mode, not in "extra innings" or elsewhere. If you picked the correct mode it would show up in your history.
I do have the game and it was a play vs CPU. I just went and double checked and it's there from May 9.
But I do see what may be the problem. It correctly shows the 7-1 win but if you open up the box score it isn't showing the runs in the individual innings that they were scored in. How bizarre.

Yeah, I quit the first one and got the badger of shame. But there are no rules against quitting vs CPU. It shouldn't mean I can no longer complete that mission. The flakey box score for the win makes me wonder if there was some glitch as opposed to what does seem more likely, I was on veteran.

I would bet my left nut that you accidentally didn’t put it on all-star.
Normally, I'd agree it's a good wager for you. It is possible. But there is a discrepancy on the saved box score that may point to the problem. The short version shows the 7-1 win. And the game log catalogs all of the runs. But the expanded summary is not showing the later inning runs.
The game was on May 9th.

About two nights ago I played the Cardinals on All-Star vs CPU. I won but did not get the 8 points for the Hernandez program. The win is showing up in my account, but it doesn't show the difficulty (or I'm missing where that is listed). I am sure I set it to All-star but I suppose I could have shifted to Veteran right as I was hitting the x button. I've reached out to SDS, but I don't know how responsive they are to this kind of issue.

I had pitching on Classic more (one tap), which I usually don't do. I don't think that was the reason.
Did it ever get resolved? I just won a play vs CPU last night for the Hernandez program and did not receive the 8 points. I set it to All-Star, and it shows the win on my account. It doesn't say the difficulty, though, so I cant be 100% certain I didn't accidentally play it on Veteran. I contacted SDS, we'll see if it gets resolved for me.

I just got him this week and I"m finding the same thing. I have Silver cards hitting doubles regularly and Robinson only getting singles, despite his speed.
I suppose it was just my imagination, but as soon as I hit 400 (All-star) the pitching speed seemed to increase. I realize the opponents I faced also got better, but I was coming up late on fast balls and it seemed faster than even All-star vs CPU. It really felt like it was on Vet before hitting 400.
But based on everything people say, it's All-Star beyond Spring-Training. So. f if I know.
how many hours did that take you? Did you just focus on expensive players so less transactions?
