Not a real big bug - BUT - Week 3 of Topps now, I have earned 72 pts, and SP Andrew Heaney (70pts) and 2B Jake Cronenworth (72pts) do not show up in my inventory.

Loved the Negro Leagues storylines!!! They need to re-consider and do more of it for THIS year! Bob Kendrick is awesome.
Gameplay - I noticed a new animation w Diamond fielding 1B Buck O’Neil doing the splits! Have to say, that’s such a baseball thing that has never actually been in The Show game until now!
Hitting - seems like they nerfed the Perfect / Perfects abiut this year. I’m noticing more of them going for routine fly balls. I just hit 2 of them - w POWER Swing even, and they went for routine fly outs. - in the same WBC moment I’m trying to complete! Haha

Negro Leagues uniforms have 2 ear flaps as well - seems like a bug they should fix.

took me the weekend off and on -- a little bit on Sat. a little bit on Sunday to finish it all. Can't say it took me longer than 3-4 hrs tops maybe even less. The little stories by Bob Kendrick REALLY add some flavor and enjoyment to the whole thing. The rewards are worth it too!

Diamond Fielding, Buck O'Neil - he actually did the splits at 1B.. I've been playing MLB The Show for years, and that's the first time I've ever seen a 1B do the splits!! Awesome stuff!

oh, that's a bummer that there won't be any more this year. Maybe they'll change their mind and have time to do more this year - even if it is the same players they gave us so far.
Next year will surely feature Josh Gibson, Buck Leonard and Cool Papa Bell !

Hello, enjoying the game so far, especially the Negro Leagues players. that said:

PS5: Diamond Dynasty
BUG: all batters wearing dual flap batting helmets when using Negro Leagues, and WBC uniforms

Switching to MLB uniforms the helmets work correctly.
But it would be good if they were not Dual flap helmets when wearing these Negro Leagues and WBC style jerseys.

Hi.. I should have posted this least year, but I understand it is not gameplay so..
BUT....

Why do the walls behind the bullpens in Rogers Centre look so decrepit, like faded, paint-chipped, pieces of metal... it is a bit perplexing how awful the texture is since '21 and still in '22

it is clean blue walls, (mind the ads) but so weird they made it so disheveled in the game.

Hope SDS can update it this year.

Hi I know he does a 1 handed swing some of the time, even on some homeruns, BUT on the majority (90%) of his HRs, Jazz has that awesome 2-handed follow through where the bat just wraps around his back.. If I had to assign him, I'd give him a 2-handed follow through over the 1 handed one..

I love him, he's awesome.

I may switch to Timing/Directional this year. played the recent HOF difficulty Event and it's much harder to square up a ball vs these 102 mph pitches, meanwhile my opponents on Timing/Directional have gone yard on me more easily.

Online, vs Casual, PS5 vs PS user

I was fielding a gapper to the wall, threw in to cut-off man, and the opposing player was rounding 2B to go to 3rd. I threw from cut-off to 3rd,

Player was half-way to 3B when 3B received the ball - player reversed back to 2B - would have been an easy out - but my team had 2 cut-off men in the OF and the player receiving my throw from 3B to 2B was the 1B - running half-way between 1B and 2B

Runner was easily safe going back to 2B as no one was covering 2B
both cut-off men - my SS and 2B were still in the OF

Could it also be that PS5 owners hit better? Frame rate is even smoother on PS5.
For me, PS4 Pro… regardless, it’s an issue this year.

Have to,agree with you. Been playing ranked seasons for years, since 2012 probably, and this years game is just zero fun. If you do score it’s from a HR. While I do like striking out 25 batters w Nolan Ryan, the offence is gone.

This years ranked season is difficult to be sure. But not for everyone. Maybe it’s because they develop and test it on computer monitors? That whole discussion about playing on a fast monitor compared to a TV. I’m always hard-wired on a TV, PS4 Pro w framereate settings, and this years game is the one that I struggle on , unlike prev. years. Is that it? Should they calibrate pitch speeds for TVs instead of developing on high speed CPU monitors?

I was wondering myself this too.. nevertheless, it’s awesome! Bought!
