We've made adjustments to the Red Sox team captain boosts provided by Jolt Clay Buchholz.

Previous:

We want theme teams to be competitively viable, but not meta-defining. With the Red Sox players currently available, and the ones coming very soon, we believe this team build was moving a bit too much toward the "meta-defining" side of the equation.

We will continue to monitor and make adjustments to captain boosts when necessary throughout the year.

Tomorrow (10/11) we'll be rolling out a new XP Reward Path in the middle of a season for the first time this year. Here is some quick information that will hopefully clear up some questions:

• It will still be Season 3 when the XP Reward Path changes. Season 4 will begin at a later date.
• There will be no headstart rewards for completing Season 3 programs thus far, because the Season is not changing.
• However, we will not be reducing XP rewards in Season 3 programs once the new XP Reward Path starts. This means if you have any Season 3 programs still to finish once the new XP Reward Path is active, you will still receive the full amount of XP, and they will count towards the new XP Reward Path.
• Double XP will be active starting at noon PT on Friday, 10/11, and will run until noon PT on Tuesday, 10/15. This will hopefully help some of you earn those sweet new XP Rewards!

We've made a few minor adjustments to areas of live content with today's drop.

• Shota Imanaga, Nate Pearson, and Porter Hodge are now eligible for the Justin Verlander no-hitter captain.
• The "Run-Off Grand Slam" moment in the Roberto Clemente Day program is now played at PNC Park, rather than Forbes Field.

In addition, we've updated the Season 3 Collection tiers to the following thresholds:

• Collect 120: First Season 3 Collection Choice Pack (Previously 150)
• Collect 150: Second Season 3 Collection Choice Pack
• Collect 200: Third Season 3 Collection Choice Pack

We have a few updates regarding Wild Card slots in Season 3, and some changes to Cornerstone Captains.

You may have noticed you have Wild Card slots after earning them in Season 2. Those will remain in your squad for Season 3.

If you don't have all four unlocked, you can earn more in the Season 3 Collection, but the max is four total Wild Card slots.

We've also made changes to the following Captains to boost primary position hitters only, and no longer boost primary position pitchers, with the exception of two-way players who fit the criteria:

• 88 Cornerstone Corbin Carroll
• 93 Cornerstone Oneil Cruz

We've updated several missions within the Gwynn's 3,000th Hit Celebration Program.

"PXP w/ Padres" and "PXP w/ 95 OVR All-Star Gwynn" were not intended to be repeatable, and the "repeatable" mission text has been removed.

We've also changed the "Hits w/ Padres" mission to reward 15 points (previously 4) in order to improve progress for those who were expecting the above missions to be repeatable.

Text has also been updated for any missions requiring All-Star Series players, noting that 2024 All-Star Series and All-Star Game Series are not included.

The server maintenance did not contain a patch, although barring any setback, there will be one soon. It will address many of the areas of the game and many of the topics commonly discussed here.

We have currently disabled program progression tied to dynamic challenges while we work to resolve an issue in Road To The Show.

Packs and attribute bumps will still be rewarded on successful dynamic challenge completions.
