Yeah, I did the player exchanges. (Buy 5 players at 5k apiece). You’ll get one of the TA bosses. Create a team with that boss and the two team captains. Play two games vs CPU at your “favorite” park (mine is Costco).
TA for that division is done!

You are welcome! I don’t know if you need to or not, but the opportunity to flip cards is really good as well.

The prices on S1 cards have crashed. I was 19 short until yesterday. Spent under 100k in stubs and was able to finish it off.
I’ll be building a team with contact vs L, contact vs R, power vs L, power vs R. , and vision all greater than 100. That seems to be the best lineup for me. Switch hitter, preferable. And if they can steal, even better!
I’m 18 cards short of 300 to complete the entire collection.
For me: Halloweek (showdown)
Extreme (not even trying any if it)
Career Tribute (5 moments short)
I’m 18 cards short of finishing the Season 3 collection. Cards are too expensive right now.
Yeah, I hate the the showdown is required for the Halloween program. Thought I’d give it a try, as I avoid Shiwdowns at all costs. However, with it being a “head start” program for season 4, figured what the heck
Made it as far as Burnett. I knew I was in trouble when my 3 hole hitter (Lindor) hit into a perfect/perfect 100 mph exit velocity 4-6-3 DP. Anyway, I’m one and done with this. And swearing off Showdowns (again).
I have the collections done for a head start. Unfortunately, two of the three programs I haven’t finished are part of head start bonus. I’m unable to finish the Moments for the Milestone program. (Despite hours of trying).
Oh well… play your way right?
Thanks all for the replies. I ended up skipping it. I could skip one and still complete the program. Took a few tries, but the mookie 6 bases one did the trick.
The buehler moment is simply not possible. Lindor will not strike out. Been doing moments (reluctantly) for 4 seasons. This one and the Keith Hernandez one from last year are not possible. Cmon SDS, do better.
These dodgers/mets moments are ridiculous. 6 total bases. 4 total bases. 2 extra base hits. Strike out 2 guys when one of them is Lindor. Home runs in one at bat.
Ridiculous. I’ve only gotten 4 of them so far. Has taken me AT LEAST 10 times for each one. Ridiculous.
Even the max muncy get a single one took over 5 times. Ridiculous.
Yeah, I’m not a fan of showdowns. Which are just “multiple” moments, IMO. Hopefully, they will adjust the program.
Did I do my math right? 101 total possible points in the program? So, the Showdown is a “have to”?
This is in contrast to the Royals vs Orioles program. Those moments are straight forward. The hardest one was the Mullins HR in one at bat. Took a couple times. The difference? Mullins had 116 power vs 85 for the Parker meadows one. These are how moments SHOULD be.
The Parker meadows moment in the tigers vs astros program is why I ABHOR moments. I am in my 20th try. Literally, the guy hits line drives or fly balls that die on the warning track. I’ve tried Power swing and up and to the right. Nothing.
A MOMENT SHOULD NEVER TAKE 20 TIMES. N-E-V-E-R. And since you need to do it in order to complete the program, this will be one I don’t finish.
SDS, make them easier. Seriously.
This is my favorite thread of the season! Thanks for doing this.
I’m working through the Career Tribute Program. I’m at 140 in that program. Need 5 more moments that I’ve tried and tried and can’t get!
I know it’s more than one. Hoping the magic still works if posting multiple problem moments.
Agreed on the ridiculous and obnoxious comments! That kind of stuff needs to be in the Extreme program. To me, in that program, anything goes. Bronze pitchers dotting corners? Bronze fielders getting gold gloves? Fine. Have at it.
For typical moments, if I play “normal” baseball, work the count, only swing at strikes, etc., I should satisfy the Moment in a couple of tries. At most.
When I read on here that some take an hour to get a Moment done, I salute them. And then shake my head at SDS for making them that way. Unnecessarily.
I have two issues with Moments. One, in most cases they are recreating a past event. (Like hit a 9th inning walkoff homer). So, give me a “card with numbers” that will get the job done. In this case, the power should be 125. The pitcher should be throwing pitches down the middle. (Again, it happened. I’m recreating). I’m currently working thru the “Milestone” moments. Pillar’s “card” isn’t enough to get some of the homers moments done (in a reasonable amount of time).
Two, perfect/perfect should be programmed to satisfy the “moment”. Whatever it is.
My two cents…
For me, I let CPU handle 99.9% of my fielding and baserunning decisions. You can’t do that online.
I’ve played (maybe) 3 games online (last years Easter Egg program), not knowing this.
It was hilarious! But, not putting myself thru that again.

I've watched a dozen videos and I still have no idea how to successfully steal bases.
Y'all enjoy your card. As for me, I'll need to make about 300 attempts to get to 50 SB.
It's not that hard, just use 99 speed players and press ZL since it seems like you play on Nintendo switch
As someone who lets the CPU make baserunning decisions, I’ll never get the 50 steals. . In fact, I doubt I’ve stolen 50 bases this entire game cycle. Oh well….
