SDS should ask @Dolenz for his WBC cheater glitch script.

Start there…..

I use directional hitting. I push my left stick to the right (all the way). This helps me get around on inside pitches better. Move the left stick when pitcher starts his windup.

If I don’t get a hit on the first at bat, I restart.
If I don’t get second hit by the third at bat, I restart.

Having said all this, it did take awhile.

Yeah, I tried to copy from GIPHY and paste into the reply.

Anything beyond that is beyond me.

@sarge1387_psn I know I’m on the fence. I like to complete as many of the collections as possible. Cards are way too expensive. Unless the market crashes, I don’t think I’ll complete any of the big collections either.

If that’s the case, I’ll be passing on next year. I’m also on the fence because of the lack of action on the WBC exploit. I think that has ALOT to do with the expensive market.

Every one of those moonshot moments took over ten tries for me.

I never thought I’d get one with Garrett Anderson. That took a long time.

I was extremely proud of myself! I actually got the Dave Roberts on Hall of Fame. Don’t make me say how many times it took to get it, but I got it.
(This is coming from a veteran only level player)

The next one with Campanella as the pitcher….didn’t happen. Although I tried it for about 15 minutes. Oh well.

Moments at the beginning of the year were actually quite fun.

Around the AllStar content release (when 99’s started showing up), they became their “pain in the [censored]” selves again.

The Moonshot moments were brutal. At least 10 times for every one. Never thought I’d finish Garrett Anderson.

For me, fun in MLB the show is finishing collections.

I have ZERO of the big collections done in 26.

Guess where on my “fun scale “ MLB the show 26 falls?

I just wish he would stop calling “Kyle Schwarber”, “Otto Schwarber”. Other than that, his commentary is good.

I’ve posted this before but I’ll repeat:

Madden gets the “difficulty levels thing” right. Rookie plays like rookie. The CPU is absolutely clueless. You score so many points that you are encouraged to move up levels as you gain confidence.

SDS gets it wrong. There is no difference in levels in The Show except for pitch speed. Same gold glove fielders, same 70 rated pitchers dotting. So, you’re not encouraged at all to move up.

What SDS needs to do is to simply put higher rated players on the teams instead of tweaking the sliders. This will increase the “difficulty” within a level without all the shenanigans we currently have.

I know I’m an outlier and I thank you all ahead of time for letting me blow off some steam….

Yes, I’m frustrated and I think I play frequently. Although, admittedly since I’m falling way behind on these mega collection, I often think, “why bother”

The market is way way way way too expensive. And SDS is doing this intentionally to get us to buy stubs. And I don’t like it one bit.

One of the sneakiest things they’ve done is NOT adding cards to some of these collections. That keeps the prices high for the limited amount of cards to complete it. (Just look at the Prime collection).

Anyway, not a happy camper with The Show 26. Not at all…. SDS NEEDS TO CRASH THE MARKET!

Yeah, I got a survey today in my email. They asked me what I enjoyed. I said Shark Map.

They asked what I don’t enjoy. I said (in all caps), THE MARKET IS WAY WAY WAY (I could keep going) OVERPRICED.

Said that I’m not pay 100 times what a card that quicksells for 3750 stubs sells for.

While I’m extremely grateful for what SDS has addressed recently with regards to “fair play”, I, too am waiting for them to address the “WBC glitch”.

It is very impactful on whether I take a year off from MLB the show (or not). I’m just one person, but gotta take a stand.

Just noticed that myself. Tomorrow should be very interesting on Twitch.

Not a new thought and has been mentioned many times on here…

If DQ would “remember” your percentage of getting the major rewards each time you played it, that mode would have major replay ability.

As it stands now, you have to play on HOF or above and HOPE that luck is on your side.

Not worth it for those who play on lower difficulties.
