I think there are just certain cards we ( as individuals) can’t hit with. My “potato” is Ohtani. Can’t hit with ANY of his “10 versions” this year.

I’ve been waiting for this to be “fixed” all year long!!

On the app, you used to be able to search by “Jin Kim” as a Series. That is no longer the case. “Jin Kim” is no longer an option.

Was trying to buy Satchel Paige yesterday when he was in the 9k stub range. Up to 41k now. Wow!

I’m with @SaveFarris_PSN It’s extreme and supposed to be diabolically hard!

I just wish they’d make the rewards sellable. (In fact, I wish they made any rewards I earn sellable, regardless of program/mode).

I have to laugh. In the October Scouting Report, I pulled LS Ohtani. About an hour ago, I opened a BIAH pack. Yes, another LS Ohtani!!

750k in stubs! I can’t believe it.

I have to laugh. I finished the Andy Pages Moment when he hit a ground ball to SS. Who promptly booted it for an error! Ha.

Finally got this one! Literally took 60 times. Yes, I counted.

That’s about 55 times more than necessary. And it’s the reason why Moments should be changed, IMO.

Vaughn DID this (hit a 3-run homer). So, his numbers for this Moment should be maxed out. IMO. We are recreating history, not making it. If that makes sense.

Anyway, it’s done. I hate Monents again!

@victoryphoenix_PSN how about getting hit by a pitch in your next at bat after you hit a homer and flip your bat in the air or prance around the basepaths like you did something no one else has ever done? 🫣

Since the change to Moments (where you can quickly restart), I don’t mind them as much as I used to

I’ve skipped this one. May double back on it later. If you do all the Moments but that one , you’ll be 2 points short of finishing the program.

I’d like to get it done solely thru Moments. We will see if I can.

@Fdawg3294_PSN many of us are hoping SDS does something about the Spring Breakout Showdown nonsense.

Last year, without doing any of the “Extreme” elements of the program, I made it to the first card in the rewards.

It took a while, just playing. I think the card was a 99 Billy Wagner. I think.

Yeah, if I remember, there is usually a repeatable “get 5000 PXP with any players” option for 5 points in the EXTREME program

It’s very slow and you don’t get very far, but it’s something.

The one thing I love about “Extreme” is that they give you a way to progress thru the program without having to do any of “Extreme” elements!

I wish they would do EVERY program like that.

Of all things…..Jolt Ian Kinsler. I’m offline only, but that guy wears out the right center gap.

When I look at his stats (in game), I’m in the 99% with his average and on base stats.

Go figure!

@sbchamps17_NSW yeah, would have been a great way to get rid of all the duplicate Cards in our binders.

I typically only play one game a year (was Madden first a long time but since ‘21 it has been The Show). My goal each year is to complete all “offline” Collections (no online at all) and to field an all ‘99’ team.

21 was awesome. 22,23,24 were fun.

25….not so much. Most of my gaming sessions have been very unrewarding. I can’t count the number of times I’ve said, “What have they done to this game”.

They nerfed my favorite stadium to play at Costco. Game play XP has been nerfed. Exit velocities are nerfed (at times). Most of my Conquest games are 1-0 with a 95+ team. The cards in the auction house are insanely expensive for this late in the year.

I play mostly on Veteran. Unlike Madden, I’m not encouraged to play at higher difficulties because of the P/P line outs, nerfed exit velocities, Bronze pitchers dotting, and GG fielders. I’m sure I’m missing other frustrations I’ve had this year.

(With Madden, I score so many points in a game, I WANT to play on a higher difficulty). On Veteran, I should (with an all 99 team) score so many runs, I WANT to play on Allstar (or higher). But that is not the case.

Bottom line for me is that I’m leaning towards giving ‘26 a miss. Hopefully, that will get me to miss playing The Show and I’ll be back in ‘27. We will see. Long reply, I know.

Now, how about not nerfing exit velocities so we can, in fact, hit homers??

Since this change, I’ve hit exactly two homers in over 6 hours of game play. Lots and lots and lots of exit velocities in the 80’s. Lots and lots and lots of lazy fly balls short of the warning track.

I’ve spent way too many gaming sessions this year with The Show saying out loud, “What have they done to this game?”

Very unrewarding and very frustrating.
