I’m with ya! I have plenty of stubs, but I refuse to pay 300+K for a card that should be listed ( at this point in the game) for 5k ( at most)
That is my opinion on a vast majority of the cards I need to finish collections. ( I still haven’t finished Miggy, much less any of the others)
The market is simply and frankly a joke. SDS needs to crash the market. Artificially, but crash it. Maybe if there’s no stubs to be made, no one will need to buy stubs and the bots will go away.
A Shark map with literally multiple packs for each stronghold would get the ball rolling. But, something needs to be done!!
Edit to add: when I say “packs”, I’m not talking about BIAH or regular packs. I’m talking juiced up 90+ “cards that we all need” packs…
I have posted this before ( and maybe you are doing it and still getting the top red banner error message anyway), I place an order and wait for the green banner at the top (“order posted successfully”) to completely go away before I place my next order.
Takes forever to do a bunch of orders, yet I’ve never gotten the error. I’ve placed hundreds, if not thousands of orders this way. HTH….
Yeah, just logged in. Saw the flash sale. Said, “Finally, card prices are coming down!” Looked at the current market prices and just shook my head.
This is how I approached it. Usually, I do all the moments and then supplement with the missions.
This time, I did the HOF conquest map first. Finished all the missions except the HR one. Did three of the easiest moments (2 were pitching) and called it a day!!
I’ve done the gold exchange MANY times. I think the cheapest is to buy 10 75 rated silver players at quick sell (50 stubs) and trade them in for a gold pack.
This way, you are guaranteed a profit on all gold cards except for an 80 (400 stubs quick sell)
Again, 81, 82, 83 and 84 are guaranteed profits. Although, I’d hold on to 84 (at this point) and hope they get upgraded to an 85 (major profit).
I did it earlier in the year (when prices were a bit saner). I usually cleared 30-50k per run thru.
The key is to buy your silvers so that trade in value is less than 600 stubs.
I almost made a thread on this last week! I FINALLY got one this inning. In fact, I also got two wheel spins. (2500 stubs and a 5 pack).
It was definitely easier this Inning to get XP. I hope this is the way going forward.
I also appreciated that there were multiple ways to finish programs this inning. Again, hope this continues.
Now, if they would only somehow, some way “crash” the market…things would be looking up!
I have one of them finished. (I don’t recall which it is). Another is 250 runs (?). For me, that’s about 30 9 inning games. The PXP one? I looked at that and said “ain’t happening “ since I play on Veteran.
So, definitely not focusing on it.
If he has 60 power and one of the moments is to hit a homer…..
(Keith Hernandez flashbacks…)
I am 100% in agreement with you. In general, if it’s in my Inventory, I should be able to sell it. Regardless of item (as you point out, there can be extremely rare exceptions).
I have an Inventory full of uniforms that I’d love to sell or quick sell.
Being able to sell anything and everything is a change that is LONG overdue.
My favorite is when you strike out and he says, “That’s not your fault, it was his” (the batter)
I laugh every time!
Ok, maybe if a “straggler ” jumps in here, more will not be afraid to jump in!
I currently have 4 Beltran vouchers. I’m still 11 away from Martinez. Heck, I still need 4 for 99 Miggy. (Ha ha. Yes, I’m laughing at myself)
I need a LOADED Shark map to crash the market. Fingers crossed, it happens soon.
I’m finishing up a 28 game mini season and I’ve noticed that the game plays differently when there is an online event.
Yesterday, for example, not only was the CPU pitchers dotting regularly, but the ball icon that shows where the pitch is was actually barely touching the “outside” of the strike zone. Meaning 99% of the ball was out of the zone, but 1% was barely barely barely touching it. I called it “super dotting”.
Definitely different.
Yeah, I got my first wheel spin of the year yesterday. Watched the ball move around the screen, hit the button to stop it…..
All for 2500 stubs. I laughed….
@dolenz_psn is on a heater today!!
Call ‘em all out, dude……
What was interesting during double XP week was that if you struck out the side, you would have expected 99x2 or 198 XP.
What I consistently saw was 195 XP. Weird.
This is the point in this thread where @sds_joek_psn steps in and says, “can’t say much, but still working on it, look for it soon”…..
A person can hope, right?
I think I saw it myself during the last roster update. Every single gold card that went diamond had like 412 (yes, it was an exact number - which is why it caught my attention) buy now orders which were exactly the price of their quick sell value.
No additional stubs to be made by selling them. Had to quick sell them all. To me, it was very obvious SOMETHING was going on.
Yeah, if nothing is done PUBLICLY and LOUDLY, I’m leaning toward taking (at least) a year off myself.
Like others have said, I’m one person, but hey, it’s all I can do….
A couple of veteran cards would be really nice!!
