I always find these threads interesting. Very rarely when people complain do I see arguments that actually refute the changes SDS made.

Both Walsh and Devers were held back by downgrades in their vs L stats (walsh in contact - devers in both contact and power) give me stats on how they did against lefties in the last two weeks to four weeks.

Freeman has not hot a HR in the last 14 days and his power got bumped down. His contact vs righties went up. Since you have so many more at bats against righties the overall stats can hide any issues against lefties.

Since the start of 2019 Rafael Devers is 10th amongst position players in fWAR. How is the 10th most valuable position player in professional baseball over 3 seasons only an 81 overall? Your live series rating should actually reflect the most productive and valuable players in baseball.

Different position. Until Devers gets switched from third base he won't get upgraded.

It doesn’t make sense, position or not Devers is a better baseball player than Jared Walsh. The rating should reflect Devers being a better baseball player.

He’s been fine in the field this year, 0 DRS with how great his bat is is more than enough.

0 DRS saved at third is not very good. That’s like saying -10 DRS SS. His defensive metrics are near the bottom in almost all categories. That is absolutely the reason he hasn’t gone diamond yet. Now if he was ahead in the offensive triple crown I would be wondering the same thing but he strikes out a ton and his batting average last time I looked was in the .260’s. That’s not Diamond performer when stacked up against others who are diamonds.

It really is not that bad, he ranks 9th in DRS amongst 3b… he’s not hitting in the .260s either so I’m not sure you’re getting good data here. He leads all 3B in WAR currently, and sure you can say he struggled last year but he was nearly a 6 WAR player in 2019. His current ranking is just flat out wrong, especially when somebody like Jared Walsh is +3 to him.

Just started a conquest game with 501890 xp. I “earned” 4005 xp from the game and my new total is 504030. Either math has changed or the double xp isn’t registering despite the visuals. Have they even acknowledge the fact this is happening?

In reference to the Robinson moment. I have no idea how SDS went from going to XBH instead of doubles because of backlash only to make a moment record 2 doubles. These Robinson moments just haven’t been fun which is a bummer.

Perfect example of an excellent idea with horrendous execution. The all or nothing reward is brutal. It was the worst part about MTO last year and they made that change, only to dump the same awful concept into this mode. Either make certain non showdowns repeatable or tweak the difficulty/sliders. The first inning showdown has left me frustrated to the point of not wanting to even play the game, which generally speaking, has been well improved in 20. The offline BR idea is really good and I’m glad they’re giving another offline option, but it shouldn’t make you want to snap your controller on day 4.
