    A couple small fixes and I feel like the gameplay will be perfect.

    Pitch speeds ffs

    Pitch speeds, contact swing, bunts, fielding animations.

    I feel like the money is right between AS and HoF difficulty for the most fun gameplay. This could be just a bias off my own skill, but I don’t see why ranked can’t just be one difficulty (ideally something around the HoF skill level) where they top players just trounce the rest. They’ll do that no matter what, right? Why not have a ranked for multiple skill levels?

    Personally, it just feels dumb that there are people like myself caught between 675-875 that have to bounce between the constant difficulty changes of AS to HoF. Could be that I luck into a few games and end up in High 800s, but whatever it is just makes the game completely unfun.

    Its a means to an end.

    The game is not fun when each team strikes out 12+ times every game and the deciding run is a contact swing HR that has no business being hit out. More fun throwing quarters in a slot machine.

    Contact swing feels more rewarding again. I've had multiple RS games in the last 48 hours where power and regular swings are squared up (not perfect), but nothing falls. Contact swing HRs still plague this game. There isn't a balance. It's still use contact swing no matter what.

    I get it. Contact swing HRs can happen. When the game is just determined by who hits the most HRs though...you're better off just gambling with contact swing rather than hoping your regular swings find a gap. It's basically September though, so nothing will change. This is the game they want to put out.

    do you guys find field of dreams laggy?

    I don’t actually have any issues with FoD. It’s parks that tend to have a lot going on like Minute Maid. Parks like Dodger Stadium, Coors, and New York I’ve run into and have minimal FPS drops.

    I wonder how much could be solved by simply having a an option to turn off the crowds.

    Congrats on sounding like a fool. FPS drops have nothing to do with internet connectivity. It’s also a well documented problem with older generation consoles. Your opinion on that matter only reinforces the first sentence of this response. You’re better off riding the pine instead of sounding like a dolt any further.

    Agreed. I try to friendly quit when ever a mlb stadium is selected. You just know the gameplay is going to be laggy

    I try to friendly, but hardly anyone accepts. Makes me feel as if it’s intentional. Hard to believe people in 800+ don’t know how bad MLB stadiums play.

    Don’t worry. Once you get to 800s its just 1-0 or 2-1 with only HRs being hit. It’s incredibly stale. Random contact swing HRs with a sliver of the ball touching the pci dominate most games I’ve played whether I win or lose. Both players aren’t rewarded enough for good timing and pci placement through the entirety of the game.

    Hey you can be me. Two months I submitted a ticket. Submitted another ticket a month into waiting because I had unlocked more cards in the 42 series. Like two weeks ago I got an email saying they merged the tickets and then….nothing! They just merged em and moved along.

    Yup. I have a friend that steals home every time he's on 3rd. His pitcher regularly steals home. I won't say how he does it, but it's based partly on what you've posted above.

    Infuriating to lose a game on a steal of home... happens way too often. It doesn't hardly ever happen in real life and neither do squeeze plays.

    Don't even get me started on how every player can drop down a squeeze even when the ball is bounced in the dirt...

    I just wish there was middle ground between catchers with pop time and those without.

    I mean MLB catchers should be able to throw the ball to 2nd base on a steal attempt BEFORE the runner reaches 2nd base.

    I feel like with SBs more often than not I’m just beat because I didn’t slide step or got caught in a predictable off-speed pitch, but I do somewhat agree. Sometimes the catching meter doesn’t even pop up, so I don’t really get to test how much I was beat by if at all.

    This needs to be fixed. If a runner gets caught between home and third with a runner behind them running to third your 3B will not come off the bag to run down any of the runners. When he throws home the catcher will miss the tag. Happens almost every time.

    ^^^^^^^^^ My whole point is that Diamonds should be for Superstars i.e. Trout, Acuna, deGrom, Tatis etc etc. Then guys like Castellanos, Yates, Jose Ramirez are great players but not superstar levels. That is why they should create a new tier of diamonds for superstars and all the other guys can have high gold ratings or the lower blue diamond ratings.

    Should realistically be 90+ is diamond and reserve the low 90s for guys like Castellanos and JRam, who are not true five tool players. They are still elite at one side of the game and head and shoulders above most of the league when it comes to hitting. Yates should be someone falling in the high 80s of the system I'm talking about.

    There’s no rhyme or reason. This is strictly user error.

    I imagine these people open their fridge and see eggs, milk and cheese, go to the store and buy those items and then come home and complain that they bought stuff they already had.

    False equivalency much? The core of this problem is design. It should be fool proof. It’s not. Card can’t be sold? Remove it from future packs or pop an error dialogue up to block selection. It’s really that simple. The backlog of tickets for this single issue is more than enough proof on how it’s poorly designed. It’s not even up for debate at this stage.

    We can quibble over whether the cards should be sellable or exchangeable or just not available once you have picked them. You won’t get much of an argument from me in that regard.

    The point right now is that there’s really no reason for anyone to “accidentally” pick the same player twice. The cards are labeled. They’re labeled in the same way as your inventory. It’s not some foreign concept.

    Yes, because choice packs don't exist that contain cards that can be resold for more than the others in the same pack. I'm glad the goalposts have been moved after you were shown how incredibly dumb your original statement was though.
