They typically do both at the same time, which works pretty well. The market still dips, but not as much as it would without the stub sale.
Not to say I told you so but…

Won my first 4 games and then “lost connection with my opponent” twice. Had a few more of those but still made it to WS so I’m happy.

Looks like things haven’t changed on the forums.
I think Imanaga is/was bugged. I played an event game with lots of weird stuff going on. Pitcher was throwing me pitches he didn’t even have and everything was breaking like a cutter. Opponent sent me a video after the game. He was using Imanaga, but from my end it was Anthony Descalfani.
Around the 1/4 of my games end with a disconnect from either my opponent or myself. How is this still a thing? (Not talking rage quits either. It’s more like 2-1 count in a tie game kinda timing.)
Can we get the man some quirks? WTH?

Good to see a familiar name. Great community.
Same! I used to start the year like 20-0. Now I’m 10-5. Either I’ve gotten worse or others have gotten better, probably both. (First post on the forums in a few years I think. It used to be the Wild West on here. Moderation seems to have improved.)
Live series diamonds generally go up if 90+, down if <90.
I’ve def done this at least once before.
First post of the year. Hope everyone had a good offseason. Excited for opening day. Go Cubs, go!
I like the changes on paper. It’s kind of like a fresh game every 3 months.
My guess for the blurred legend is Joe DiMaggio.
Speaking of Maddon, the Counsell hiring reminds me a lot of Maddon’s hiring. Ross was well liked and did a respectable job, as did Renteria. Counsell was the best manager available, as was Maddon. The Cubs are also in a very similar position in 2024 as they were in 2015.
I’m very happy with the signing and here’s my reasoning. Counsell is an excellent manager, Ross shares some blame for the Cubs’ September flop, and it makes even more sense taking from a division rival.
I also think that this signals the Cubs will be making some major moves this off-season.

As a Cubs worry about making the playoffs after y’all latest shenanigans from media posts to after ball game fight songs
That was almost a coherent sentence.
At least he didn’t write- “what you all cryin about today?”
Also, I think it’s safe to say all our NL Central teams will be playing golf next week.
I’m not sure, the Brewers have a nice rotation for the playoffs.
Terrible way for the Cubs season to end. The last 3 weeks have been brutal. But I think this year has been a solid step forward for the Cubs. The rebuild is finished and it’s time to compete next year.
Need to resign Belli, nab a 3rd baseman, and get some relief help. Still lots of help coming up from the minors. Very excited about Cade Horton. I’ll pass on Shohei if he’s going to cost as much as I think he will.

What do you mean by much better? In general it's high speed pitches that have more success in video game form. Do you mean better statted or like actually different?
Actually different would be nice too, but I won’t be greedy. And by that I mean that he throws two different changeups, one with fade and one with cut. Strasburg did the same.
Control and movement.
Kyle Hendricks’ changeup needs to be much better on his Prime card. It’s his best pitch and has been one of the best in the league for a decade. Stuff like this kills immersion.
Madbum is the only card appealing to me. Is he base round? Super cheap.
I feel for ya. Wasn’t a good trade for the NYM. Don’t know if he’ll get a Topps Now, no hits yet. But he’s made some great plays.
