For whatever reason it feels as if they went to p2p servers this year. Previous years I never had in-game lag this severe. Were talking 15-19, 0 issues with lag or each game playing differently.
The servers are P2P!!! What kind of servers did you think they have? Please don’t say dedicated because thats a completely unreasonable assumption. That would cost way way way too much money for a game that pits 2 players against each other. It would also be a complete waste of bandwidth. DS are intended for hundreds of players to connect to in the same game like Battle Royale games and RPG’s. Do you know how much SDS would have to charge us for the initial game for those kinds of servers? You wouldn’t want to know.

I’m not arguing, I’m pointing out a fact. There has been no back and forth. Maybe he didn’t know that the servers were P2P. Now he does. Like I said go somewhere else if you don’t have anything of substance to offer and stop trolling my posts.

For the people who complete collections and play the DD mode in versus.. showdown.. conquest.. and get the XP by earning it. Playing HR Derby for all of your XP shouldn't reward you with cards and other rewards that are not meant to be obtained so quickly. It's not a grind. It's exploiting a glitch.
Playing a single mode for 5 hours is defienlty a grind. It’s so pointless. If you wanna sit there for 5 hours playing a mode like he derby. Yeah you should get xp
So your telling me people who sit and play something so mind numbly boring that takes no skill should be awarded more XP than those that complete collections for as many teams as possible? Yeah ok. Sure it's a grind.. a extremely tedious one. It's still exploiting a glitch. The HR Derby wasn't designed to give that much XP. That's why they are patching it. I don't really blame SDS.. they would think people bought their game to play and try to get cards.. not play a mode for 10 hours out of a 24 hour day. Lol.. but sure .. big time grind.
If they only wanted people to play the game, earn cards, and complete collections then it wouldn’t be possible to drop some cash into the game and knock it out the first week. Why are they not nerfing collection XP?

if you want arcade baseball go play slugfest or mario baseball. MLB the show has always been a sim style game having batting averages of .400+ up and down the lineup along with 5+ era's is not actual baseball. Yes mistake pitches should be crushed, yes hitting should be fun & rewarding but the same way you find 6-5 games boring I along with alot of ppl find consist 15-13 games boring because it's not baseball the sport the game is trying to simulate.
Having Babe Ruth Mickey Mantle, Ken Griffey Jr. Chipper Jones, and Lou Gehrig in the same lineup isn't real baseball either. Get over it. Play Online rated play now if you want realistic baseball

Ah yes... one week in and we have “elite pitchers.” My bronze and silver relievers’ 88 mph fastballs definitely should not be giving up hard hits to high golds and low diamonds.
thats on you I have a rotation of 2 diamonds and the rest golds and its the same story. If they want to keep pitch speeds at were its currently at then something else must be done. Im not saying hitting shouldnt be rewarding but it also shouldnt be this easy.
I don’t think you understand... a baseball doesn’t care who threw or who hit it. If it’s barrelled up, it should be hit hard. If my Nolan Ryan throws a meatball right down the pipe and Hunter Renfroe turns on it, it should be destroyed. If you make a bad pitch, that’s on you. RNG shouldn’t be there to save you every time.
They only narrowed the window for barreled up, perfect-perfect hits. I had swings that were a tad early or late that were getting completely blown up. It was fun but kind of ridiculous. I agree mistake pitches should get smoked, but it’s up to the batter to do it.
