I didnt buy any extras and kinda enjoyed taking a little longer. Yeah Dawson was 10X more valuable for me than Rizzo, but still had fun completing the program.

I used him in the next game. Clapped opponent’s cheeks again and he quit in the 2nd. Stamina went down to about 20% capacity.

I honestly don't think we're getting one at this point. I bet SDS likes their retention #'s for the low-skilled / casual players and they're not gonna mess with it.

It's just sad how SDS' communication has dwindled to almost nothing since MLBTS '20.

They used to communicate very well. I can deal with poor gameplay but the poor communication sucks.

I'd bet they do. It might not be until June or July, but I think there will be a patch.

I can't guarantee it will fix everything. I also can't guarantee it won't break something else. I can't even guarantee that the patch will fix what its meant to fix to our expectations (since we as a community are impossible to please). But there will be one.

I would bet they do a patch, fix absolutely nothing and break something else in the process.

Online means nothing unfortunately because of the moonshot event. Stats suffer credibility issues.

SDS can have it both ways - just add a "recreational" version of RS and make the current RS input-based where "stick skills reign supreme".

Causal gaming with the level of RNG we're experiencing now. Rewards for reaching new divisions are less than Comp version, no player rewards like WS. Maybe overall team rating limit of 93? Maybe 6 innings? Veteran and All-Star difficulties Losses result in less of a "decrease" in rating, so if you grind out wins you can make the higher divisions. record can be viewed like events, but doesn't show up on your team screen when loading into game, resets each season in leader boards.

I don't always have the time, energy, or stress management levels to play a full game of zeroed-in laser-focus RS, but would love to get some practice or casual at bats in with my top players.

That way people can choose if they wanna play w the pros for the buffed rewards, or practice in the rec version for lesser-ish awards.

Not sure how anyone could object to this, people would self-select which mode they want to play without being limited to full 9-inning RS games on certain difficulties.

Maybe they'd have a HOF and All-Star option so you could practice. Sucks that I have to switch between HOF and All-Star cold turkey here and there since I'm in Division Series and hover between the two.

There's already a casual online mode.

Edit: just saw he has 20 speed….I think FOTF Votto is probably better overall. I’ll stick with my 99 Frank and Votto 1B situation. Always such a crowded position.

I would think they could have added a reward card today and made it a choice pack. That way those who didn't get Longoria could choose him on the first run and pick the new card on the second run.

SDS just needs to bring back the ping indicator. It’s been gone since DD became a thing.

Just played 4 straight event games that went into extra innings because no one can score.

80% of “good” contact is resulting in lazy fly balls.

There is no point in playing this game online right now. I wanted to go for some of the reward but playing online feels like you’re a hamster in a wheel - tons of effort but making 0 progress.

I could post the PCI screenshots etc, but we’ve all seen plenty of those and know how bad hitting is.

Thank god we get content on Friday so my offline XP can actually go towards something. I can’t blame anyone who wants to boycott online gameplay until there’s a patch. Otherwise you’re wasting your time w this slot machine / dead ball hitting system.

edit: 5th straight game went into extras. Took 6 innings but I finally won 1 of the 5 games. We need more line drives in this game. IDK why its so hard to implement.

It’s ridiculous. Game is an absolute joke. I get a majority good PCI placement and timing only for it to be a pop up while my opponent doesn’t do [censored] until extra innings and then gets contact base hits to load the bases until my pitchers confidence is reduced enough where he hits a lucky gap shot for the win.

its been ok to be honest - i never get kicked out of a game - no freezes yet this year - my timing is decent though im on a monitor like 2 feet away from the screen using strike zone 2 or 3 camera

How is the lag though?

Today mine is at 52.2 and 8.2, but I’m late on everything in the event against common pitchers.

What can I do to improve? I’m wired with expensive Xfinity in a wealthy neighborhood.

WHY does SDS not invest in dedicated servers or at minimum, improve what we’re working with today.

The quality of H2H play is highly dictated by the quality of your connection with some random person somewhere in the country

How [censored] asinine is that?! This game H2H still has 0 consistency game to game.

One game, pitches look normal, swing timing makes sense and H2H play is actually good

The next? Nothing makes sense, you’re suddenly late on slower fastballs, exit velocities make 0 sense, and you’re left wondering wtf happened

Until SDS invests into dedicated servers, H2H play will be inconsistent at best.

I need to remember this next year. I guarantee 23 will not be any better
