For the life of me I will never understand this. Everyone can burn their money however they please, just look at NFTs haha, but what is the purpose of spending $100 on the game, then hundreds more to complete the live series collection on day 1? Is that some sideways feeling of accomplishment? Awesome, you're going to have a super team no one is going to want to play. Sounds like a blast. I believe this is called a 'game' which is something you play lol. But hey, if that is whats going to give you a chubby, rock on. I for one am very excited to struggle with my bronze cards for a bit lol.

I'd like some confirmation on the loyalty rewards because I have owned every version of The Show but I am playing on the Series X this year. Which also means I have to log in here differently haha

I will most certainly be rocking the defaults this season.
Every single sports game allows you to wear real jerseys AND create them (maybe not Madden).
With the amount of jerseys available throughout history in baseball its something that could be so cool.

What I am really excited for is the hope that there won't be a 99 available on day 1 and they will slowly come out.

I'm excited for someone else to put the hours in to make Ebbets Field so that I can download it.

I've had every version of The Show for as long as my fried memory can go back but I am playing on the Series X this upcoming season. If there are still loyalty rewards, how would I be able to get them? Even on here I have to be under a different login.

they just tweeted out a promotion to buy MLB 20 as part of their "holiday sale". forget being released on time, I am starting to doubt if there is even a game coming this year.

I just wish we could get any insight. Like if it's going to be delayed, which given it's already January 11th, just come out and say it's going to be delayed. I'd actually be good with that. But again, it's the silence that is beyond frustrating. You can't tell me that at this moment they don't know what their plan is.

Communication as never been a strong point of SDS but I think the lack anything regarding '21 has red flags up for a lot of people. '20 was announced in October '19, six months prior to release. We are essentially two months from when the game would normally be released and there isn't a single known fact about the future of the series.

I still haven't been able to scoop up a PS5 and I am so underwhelmed by the Series X so far. I'm only holding on to my PS4 strictly in case The Show doesn't make it to the Series X because I imagine if / when '21 is released it will have to be on the PS4 as well with such demand for a PS5 out there.

What is the general consensus here. Is the game going to hit next gen systems or should I hang on to my PS4 still?

I’m terrible with Newhouser. I get lit up every time I have used him to the point that I may pull him. I can’t hit him until after a few innings when I get the timing down but if I fall behind early I’m screwed haha

I think I might sell him and go committee.

Last night was my first RS game in ages. Between treatment and this storm destroying our area leaving me with no power or internet for a week, my goal of hitting 300 stars before the next season came to a screeching halt ha.

Anyway, I have sig Chapman and last night was my first time using him. Proceeded to give up a game tying homer in the 9th and then my team just fell apart in the 11th....

So who are you using? Is it really worth it to keep Chapman?

I haven’t played much dealing with the joys of chemotherapy but I have been trying to get back at it lately. I’m 40-28 overall I believe.

I feel ya buddy. I had chemo last Thuraday but still played some games even in the chemo fog/haze. W joy it too much. Well wishes to you!

Thanks guys for the support, seriously. This is actually my second fight vs cancer in the last 8 years but I’ll come out on top again. As frustrating as The Show can be at times it really does help get me through. But let’s not talk about my health, let’s discuss how I hit a HR with Mike Scott to win last night and get my ranking over 600 for the first time this year haha.
