Finest Cody Bellinger is the best player I’ve used this year. Cannot hit with anyone else consistently on Legend except with Bellinge

I played the last event almost exclusively the past 2 weeks and don’t think I can play another game on all star again. I was getting punished on legend but playing the current event on Hall of Fame has been a joy

Your PSN profile has all your information and its saved online. I jump between my PS4 pro and PS5 without problems.

He kills righties for me as much as lefties despite the splits. The speed and glitchy quick swing makes him so dangerous

I think Josh Bell is not in the rewind pack because part 2 of that event is coming up after the current one wraps up. You still have a chance to earn him, Braun and Slaughter in part 2 of that event so they are not in the packs.

Unfortunately, disc games still install onto your hard drive and won’t save space. You actually want that especially on ps5 to take advantage of the speeds of the SSD. You do save a bit of bandwidth buying disc though if you are on a limited tier of internet.

Two questions.

1. IF there are only X number of cards in the Ducks on the Pond packs, why do you get some many through the programs? What's the point? Providing cards to sell?

2. How do you complete the finest series? I have opened 8-9 packs in a row that have had the three players in them. WTH?

For the finest cards, there’s 30 of them, one for each team, that are attained by completing team affinity stage 4.

The finest packs contain additional 17 finest cards that are only found in the packs. There are also guaranteed rare finest packs which always has the same three cards, which makes them cheaper than the common cards due to how easy it is to get the rare packs.

There are also flashback finest cards from previous year in the game which you can obtain in a variety of ways, like Jose Ramirez through prestige XP reward path, Josh hader through the run it back packs, Bellinger/Josh Bell through the events, and Arenado/Marte/Lindor by locking in finest cards in the collections.

BR is definitely the most competitive mode because of matchmaking and unpredictability of AllStar difficulty/3inning games. If you have stubs to burn, it’s still fun to go and get use to online gameplay. Events to me are more fun due to ability to use your own collection with restrictions and free entries.

Most random, sure. Most competitive? Absolutely not. Ranked on HOF and legend is way more competitive bc the skill gap is way higher and you face good players most of the time

Sorry, I was saying competitive for me due to being matched with players much more skilled than myself in BR. In RS, at least in middle of the season, you match with similar skill levels. I’m not very good at the game, and would agree that RS at higher levels are more competitive.

I had much better luck with the last event than this one. Getting lit up a lot. In the first few days of the event and especially on weekends, the comp is definitely much higher. I’m at 18 wins and initially had high hopes of going for the rewind pack to try for Goose, but will probably stop after Ohtani.

Willie for sure. Waited a month, finally got him and having problems adjusting to his slower swing and stance. Love his defense though so will keep practicing his swing.

Yes, I know they install on your hard drive, but they still save space for example, NBA 2K21 next get is 120 GB for digital downloads, but on my ps5 it is half that at 63.9 GB with a disc.

That’s crazy. I wonder why the discrepancy between users. I have the disc version of 2k21 and it takes up 118gb on my ps5. I was just checking it yesterday because I couldn’t download my Street Fighter V update because I have no more space

Are you sure you have disc? I'm staring at it rn and it says 63.89GB. I have no idea your situation but perhaps you transferred the data of nba 2k21 from your ps4 to ps5 so you have two copies of the game? I'm not sure really, but I would look into that if I were you.

Haha for sure have disc. My drive makes a loud noise every time I load it up. I’m going to try to delete and reinstall to try to free up space. That’s a lot of space I can free up. Cyberpunk also takes up over 120gb. On the 2k21 box it says 150gb of space needed. Guess 118gb is better than that

And yeah, I don’t understand how I can be early, very early, and late on a fastball in the same at bat. Timing windows must be very small.

PCI placement also has to be almost perfect. I’ve had so many good swings that my center pci miss by the smallest amount. I’ve never played on legend. Did manage to win six games yesterday but all of them felt like flukes where I got lucky and hit a home run.

Not to mention the lag you always get there too. Played so many games this event there

Bregman and Steve Finley got quick glitchy swings too.
