@AstrosJake I couldn’t even finish the new conquest map without hitting the cap it’s insane how low it is. I refuse to believe this will make people want to play more

Given, I stopped playing last years game in May. Did they eventually do this last year? Or were Set 1 cards only good for the Set 1 master collection?

No thanks on the separate collections I would always end up with 100 extra topps now cards and never enough prime cards

You’re not the first one to have such an experience lately - there was another fella on here the other day who had the exact same thing happen to him…only difference was he actually was aware of game mode, but when he switched consoles on the tv he assumed it would still auto switch to game mode only it hadn’t been lol.

I had hoped that I too was in the wrong mode but nope lol mine was dialed in like a Swiss sewing machine and I still can’t hit the ball hahaha!

@blitz77tw yes but can you tell me how much it costs to have the likeness rights to Derek Jeter? Or the likeness rights to the Negro League Hall of Fame?

I don’t have a problem with SDS finding ways to create revenue when they’re clearly spending the money to retain big names like Jeter. Especially when you can still, very much so grind a competitive squad, spending ZERO dollars on top of your game purchase.

It is unlikely that the vast majority of S1 cards will have anything to do with future collections, if any at all. If you've not noticed, they've MASSIVELY decreased the number of available collections. I don't see that changing as the year goes on. They might do something else like Vlad, but it would probably be for a specific card type released with the collection.

@b00std_mark_II I don't know why they got rid of that. It was such a simple way to perpetually give players something to work towards.

Edit: They will possibly release packs later in the game cycle in conquest or something. With the seasons and how they work is different so I don’t really know.

Chances are they'll release them later. But like you stated, since they're Set 1 cards, chances are they won't be released until LATE in the cycle. That is unless they release them before Set 1cards aren't usable for awhile.
