another thing is in real life you have to load and think about timing

In the short run things like that can happen but the more often you get the PCI on the ball and time it well, the better results you will get

Universal profile record is broken for second year in a row, also. They NEVER fixed it last year. I used to follow my winning % and average, year-to-year-to year. Now it is all broken. I mean, COME ON!

I would see it as a massive negative if those stats don't count to at least team affinities.

I agree, but also people find loopholes, those people make it suck for the rest of us.
If it counted for affinity, two friends create a league, play each other, and just leave the game running, so it just auto pitches and strikes them out over and over. They come back a couple hours later and they've done 50 innings x 9, so 450 innings total accumulated just because they could match up with their friends.

It's sad that people are that [censored] up.
I can see why it won't, but you and I both know that the league we have joined is not going to pad stats.

Just ruins it for those who want to play the right way.

Then complete them on time using other methods. Once the time period ends, your options become limited.

Be happy that they're "limited" and not "non-existent".

There are two reasons to believe this; one is fact and the other is a rumour, mixed with a little fact.

The fact that they opened the beta to so many people indicates that they were using the data to tune the game, and therefore, needed a lot of data. I didn't get to play it, so those of you that have will probably notice a very similar game to what you played, sans bugs.

The second reason is two-fold. SDS and all other developers have had the developer kit for the PS5 for some time now. I would say that it is safe to assume that they have the Xbox Series X developer kit as well. SDS will be making the leap to the Xbox platform (Nintendo as well) for 2021.

That means a whole lot of new coding to do, for both next-gen consoles.

With new consoles, as we all know, there need to be new launch titles. One of the rumoured launch titles for the PS5, and I assume the Xbox as well, is MLB The Show 21. That would be awesome if it is indeed true, an early, next-gen version of your favourite game. Considering that the apparent release date for these consoles is late October, early November, does this mean we will get an early version of The Show?

I believe that the beta was definitely a tuning operation for SDS since they now have to divide their time between the impending MLB 21 on PS5 and Xbox Series X, and the current-gen PlayStation.

MLB the show 2021 will come out in March of 2021 on the PS5, Xbox Series X, PS4, and Xbox One. They will not make an earlier version of a game due to these consoles coming out in October/November of 2020. Both are reportedly backwards compatible so you will be able to play MLB 20 on them once the consoles are released.

Thanks man. My commute got about 30 miles longer a year or so ago, and to be honest, every morning and night I find myself wishing I had something like your new ride or a GS 1200. Love what Yamaha has done stylistically the last few years, starting with the FZ line. Great blend of sport and touring. Wonderful choice for a new bike 👍

I couldn't rave about it enough, to be honest. It handles like a dream in the twisty bits (more flick-able than the actual bikes I've owned that were more sporty) and is rock solid on long haul runs, which I do a lot of on it. Power to spare and all the mod cons. Electronic cruise control on a motorcycle is a game-changer when you do long trips.

Oh, I can imagine. Once or twice a year, my lady and I will throw gear on our bikes and head to the coast or the mountains for a few days. She uses one of those thumb throttle controls for pseudo cruise control, but I hate them. I’d kill to be able to actually. take my right hand off the throttle on those long trips.

I was able to play without getting the network error all day today but yesterday and the day before I couldn't make it past the 5th inning before getting the message...same Internet setup as you described and haven't had the network error message in months before 2 days ago.

My approach against really good opponents is to make a pitcher throw at least 20 pitches an inning.. ends up draining their bullpen quickly. It's annoying but effective. I also believe that the game rewards players better for working the counts more.

The excessive foul balls definitely help with this but I hope to see them gone in 20. Last time they tried to change very early foul tips we had the disaster of 1.13

I just did the same a week ago and spent the stubs I was sitting on (about 400K) and locked in the top 10 or so LS guys I was missing (Trout, Scherzer, Arenado, Yelich, etc.) and am currently trying out Mays, Pudge and Hornsby. Then spent what I had left on a few guys I wanted to try, like Blyleven and Eckersley. At this point, why not?
