It’s horrible this year, low scoring games with both players struggling for hits.. at least events and BR make up for the horrible RS this year
Yeah, I’ve enjoyed BR way more. But, the whole point of DD is to get the best players to take into ranked, so it kinda feels pointless to me. Just a bummer honestly, though I will admit I feel better it’s not just me lol.
Ranked seasons are simply not worth it. We all play the game to get the best cards and the cards we want. We build our teams and go head to head with other players and their teams for a full 9 inning game. It's a complete sweat fest, I'm sure we all don't go into these games thinking that but that is what they turn out to be. We have to be good enough to reach 900 to get the 1 card or we have to win 40 games to get that 1 card. To me, the juice just isn't worth the squeeze. I actually like the idea of ranked seasons, there should be some kind of reward path of sorts though. The little amount of stubs and show packs we get just doesn't cut it.
I dont mind the pxp missions. What I do mind is all the time I have to invest to finish these programs. I have no time to parallel players on my "God squad". All it feels like I'm doing is using my grind team
....about all these racist, homophobic and pornographic team logos and names. It's a shame that this is allowed to go on. There are a ton of preteen kids that play this game and they should not be subjected to all this BS.
Those that like to tank to get in allstar just like beating up on the poor souls that actually belong there
What grinds my gears about playing these modes vs. the CPU is when no name hitters with low contact, power, clutch and vision are up there BATTLING with my 95+ level pitchers. They all seem to have eagle eye with the patience of a elementary school teacher. When they do make contact it's never soft, it's always a solid rip. And as someone else has said already, the amount of double plays I hit into vs the CPU has mirrored my experience with showdowns this year. The CPU needs a double play, 8 out of 10 times they seem to get that double play.
Why do people refer to these program cards as being free? Just curious ya know, it's like they think the cards are sent directly to your inventory when you log on. I don't understand the logic. These cards are earned by playing the game correct?

Your trash
Your grammar is trash.
I'm with ya on the storyline. At first I didn't think I would like them. Arguably the best part of this year's game. That measly 25 stub and 25xp you get on the final stage though. Come on sds.
I play this game quite a bit and I still have the al east and al central to finish chapter 2. It's almost like having a part time job to try and get things done in this game.
Thank you!
I would absolutely love to beable to play strictly on hall of fame online when I want. My problem is the purgatory of allstar I can't get out of. I pitch way better then I hit, and the times I've made it there it just felt better to me. The pitching is what keeps me in games until I run into a goon or two that lives in hof and legendary and I'm sent back down to allstar purgatory.
I know when I dive sometimes, the player will dive in place and not very far. It's like they stop in mid-air.
@yankblan_psn said in I’m the only one w/o Trout judging by the event:
Every single team, good player or bad, has him and paralleled too.
Having a hard time with this one, grinding NL East TA; defense sucks hard, onlt Scherzer as SP is decent and no RP worth a lick lol.
But, discovering Jeff McNeil as my unsung hero gold card
I just started playing events for the first time and I don't have Trout, Acuna or Tatis yet. The real reason I responded was because of your mention of McNeil. I chose him as my pinch hitter today in the bottom of the 3rd with runners in scoring position and drove a liner in the gap right over the 2nd basemens head for the game winner.
I dont have Jackie or Soriano, so Semien will slide right into 2b as soon as I unlock him.
Out of all the multi game moments for players this year sofar Parker was the easiest for me. Got them done with 2 games to spare, it must be his swing or the baseball gods were just with me.
The whole "I'll sleep when I die" mantra is not good for your overall health. As humans, we have a ton of different things on our plates daily. It is in your best interest to get quality sleep to be well rested physically and mentally to sustain a healthy lifestyle.
Geez Louise man, do you get off on typing short stories all the time or something?
His moment against the Pirates. Is anyone else having problems or had problems with this moment? I don't know about you guys but the Pirates are the best offensive team in baseball going against me in this moment. They all have eagle eyed patience to go along with their ability to put solid contact on the ball no matter where it is in the zone. Its crazy how good they are in this "veteran" mode.
@jsteele1020_psn said in Moments are annoying:
Especially love how when you need XBH they stick a 20 speed guy in front of you who never tries to take an extra base. So f***ing stupid. I'm getting sick of this trash game.
I've noticed in alot of these moments the pitcher seems to be on 1st atleast 50% of the time too. lol
Great, so the people that can't hack it in HoF or Legendary tank so they can feel better about themselves getting to rough up the poor chaps who legit struggle on Allstar already as it is. Fun!
I'm not a great or good player myself online but I would definitely say I'm above average with a 44-27 record in WS. I wondered why I always came across so many players with great stats and good to great stick skills in the 400-600 range.
I really want to like RS but I just can't, it's a sweat fest even in the lower levels and the rewards aren't even worth the hassle. You have to get to 900 or 40 wins to get the reward, which is a single card choice. Big whoop! There should be some kind of reward track that dwarfs all the other reward tracks, even the inning reward tracks. At the end of the day, RS is and should be considered the end game after all. I mean you build your team and make your lineups and rotations for 9 inning games vs. other players and their teams with the the cards you amass playing the game. There should be better rewards.
