I just opened up 200+ packs this weekend alone. Show, BIAH, HL. 1 diamond Will Smith. I've already reached 200 FA in collections, just got 86 new FA in those packs not including dupes (I bet it's about the same amount too). I also counted more gold equipment and jerseys than actual gold players aswell. A bunch of dupes there too. I get it, they all can't be winners but [censored] man it's frustrating as hell.

I just opened 25 show packs and got 42 free agent players out of them. I know all packs can't be winners but I think its ridiculous how many free agents you get in these packs. Atleast give us a few more common or bronze players on actual teams instead. There are a few free agent players I noticed where I had 4,5,6 duplicates already this early in the game's cycle.

On a side note, is it just me or does it seem like the cpu pitchers don't throw over to 1st with a runner on anymore? Fast guys usually got a throw or two tossed over. Not for me this year, I haven't had one cpu throw over yet. Hell. I haven't seen a pitchout or sidestep yet.

Ive been picked off a couple times taking leads with guys with steal in the 50s (not every team has a good steal guy to get those 3/15 steal milestones), but the only pitch out Ive seen was in a showdown which is just rude.

Ah, I never take leads. Even in years past though I was still getting pitchers throwing over, pitching out and slide stepping. This year I haven't got any of that yet.

Sofar I've opened maybe 250 regular packs and received only Julio Rodriguez and Logan Gilbert. I've opened maybe 15 BIAH packs and 20 headliner packs and out of those I've gotten pudge, Houck, vlad jr. and Corey Seagar. Obviously, better luck with the latter but my typical early season luck with regular packs...garbage. Look on the bright side though, I've atleast reached my reward for obtaining 200 FA cards...yippie!

Ever since I started playing this game when it came to Xbox I've never pulled a high or mid diamond at the beginning of the year. I've only pulled them when the game is dying out at the end of the season. You aren't the only one with the horrible luck.

Just a heads up. The now or later packs look identical to 25' Show packs. They will not say "now or later" on them, only in the small print when hovering over the correct ones.

Dumb question. When looking at the pitcher analysis in the pause menu am I looking at the strike zone they show from the mound or batters view?

Small market teams are not willing to overspend on the mediocre players the bigger market teams can pass on easily if they so choose. Small market teams can't recover when the free agents they do decide to spend on just don't pan out. Big market teams can shake those bust signings off and carry on with no worries.

Interesting. The last few days my latency has been hovering around 100 and it's usually in the 30-40 range. My timing online has been way off too. It's weird because my internet speed has been upgraded and the game seems to be playing worse for me.

How are you supposed to get someone out who NEVER swings at anything even a hair outside the zone and who crushes anything inside the zone? Breaking stuff - crushed. Fastball on the corners - crushed. Sliders away - laid off. Changeups the tiniest bit low - both crushed and laid off, sometimes.

The answer is “get better and stop moaning” but how can I lose so badly to a 600 rated online player but beat the CPU on HOF >90% of the time?!

I played someone like that last night in ranked and got whooped. He was 695 and I was 625 I believe. No matter what I threw, outside the zone or in, changed speeds and all. It did not matter. Bombs galore, perfect perfects all around, no weak contact. I was mercied quickly.

Imo, it's about the matchmaking levels. Players who reside in allstar and veteran levels should never be matched with players that reside in hof and legend. There needs to be a system that doesn't allow the better players to drop down levels in ranked. I don't have any real answers but I completely understand why lower level players get discouraged by online play.

Usually when it loses connection there is a pop up window saying so. This time was weird because I seen the game summary at the end showing I won, I literally glanced at my phone for 2 seconds and when I looked again I was at the DD menu with no buttons pushed and the game didn't count.

Last night I was playing the Rockies on the new conquest map. I beat them 6-0, the game ended and the scoreboard showed with the winning and losing pitchers as it usually does. I glance at my phone and then back at the TV screen. I'm at the diamond dynasty main menu all of a sudden without pushing any buttons. I go back to the conquest map and it shows I never played the Rockies!?! Wtf. Nothing counted, the win or stats. It's irritating because I was able to knock out multiple player missions in that game but nothing counted. This has never happened to me before, anyone else?
