4 day early access, is ACTUALLY 3 DAYS. 125 dollars and you actually making me wait longer than folks who paid $30.00 cheaper. Seems not fair.

Love it. I've rage quit, destroyed controllers, and flung them across the room many times, and yet, i've learned to actually pause the game, calm down, and start thinking logically. Is there a pattern to my pitches, what's he doing that i can counter. It's Chess, that's all it is. Take breaks during the game, do what you can to calm down.
Yea i love his content. He's usually pretty spot on.

Of course I took almost two months off to play other game releases so that stopped me from getting burnt out too quick.
This is what i did this year: August - September, i probably played 8 hours or so, (which is why i missed out on the Acuna/Corbin Caroll/Jose Ramirez TA cards and didn't go back to do them) As a person with mulitple kids at the house, i gotta balance things a bit. That's why i probably enjoyed Set 5 more than everything, because i took a break.

So i'm a little different. I love the show, some things work, some things dont. I'm black and with the inclusion of the negro leagues, i'm all in. RTTS/Franchise are modes i dont enjoy and i wish there was a weekend league for ranked as that gets stale fast too, doesn't take away from the fact that i love this game.
@FOE713 Unless you got an AWESOME OLED, Monitors are the way to go. But i'm old school and play on a 75 newer tv, probably switching to a monitor would get me 100 games over .500.

Skenes is the easiest to hit for me, as he is basically pitch mix and deliver like Nolan Ryan (my favorite pitcher)
P5 Donaldson is tough. You wake up and turn on the game and someone has P5 donaldson, i'm like, WHY DIDN'T I GO TO PRACTICE FIRST??
P5 Finest Blake Snell steals my lunch and pushes me in a locker.
P5 Gibson, i've faced him 500 times, we'll figure him out pretty quickly.

Sounds like you just need to take a break. Sometimes we get so frustrated when we lose, or we see the 'comeback logic'.
I took a break during Set 3/Set 4, didn't play that much at all in August/September, Came back and did everything just about in Set 5 and enjoyed it again. Started to get too worked up/competitive, so i had to stop with the late night gaming. Pay attention to yourself and take care of your mental health.
. This game is CHESS. That's why we love the show. In the end, you still gotta get your PCI reasonably close. You might just need to play some Spiderman 2, string together a few combos, feel good about it, then check back in on your team, but with more calm, reasonable expectations.

I didn't even bother completing the LS collections. What's the point? I do love MVP Sammy but had no incentive to get the weaker Mark and Jeter. It used to be a big deal to complete LS collections, now with so many programs/cards/Team Affinity, it's just not necessary. I sell all my duplicates fast, save up my stubs. Next year: i will not be buying bundles in hopes to get that great chase pack card with THE LIVE SERIES 85 PLAYER OR GOLD PLAYER. I'm not kidding, I'm like 1 for 60 on Chase packs in the show 2023. Recently those 25K chase packs i'm like 1 for 20 all purples except 99 tatis charisma. I would have over a million stubs and then some if i hadn't wasted money on packs in 23'.

Here's the flip side: IT'S ALSO A TACTIC. When folks bunt dance/R2ing, it's a tactic. Folks do tactics to
annoy you in madden and other games. While i dont do that, i respect that it's HIS JOB TO ANNOY ME AND GET ME OFF MY GAME. We are playing Chess. He's pulling out all the Stops to try to beat me. It's all good, it's just a game. I like when folks bunt dance, i truly think it throws off your timing when hitting. I got P5 Donaldson and your bunt dancing, your not ready for this Fastball/Forkball combo, your going to strike out. Then your going to rage quit.
So, i have messages turned off, i used to get message from folks during the game all the time.

I played 23' less than i played 19-22. I grinded Set 1/2, skipped most of set 3/4 (i didn't play from August-October (burnout) then i grinded all of Set 5 and enjoyed playing with everyone in Set 6. But by Set 6, it was stale/toast not interesting.
In 24', i bought the Negro Leagues edition as i'm black and after visiting the museum in KC, i'm all in. But i really hope they reformat sets and seasons and i'm sure they will. Night 1 i'll probably buy $100 worth of stubs and try to flip what i can early.

If every player who ever lived was in the game, people would still complain about new legends. I'm serious, i've been on forums and youtube chats, and people will always find a reason to complain.
Getting Josh Gibson/Buck Leonard, the thunder twins is a huge W for me personally. But i'm sure the casual fan would rather have Ichiro, Arod, manny Ramirez, and Tim lincecum. I get it. Why isn't Sandy Koufax/Ted Williams in the game? We just have to be patient. i'm looking forward to getting my hat/case on friday and starting my grind.

I got his program done in about 1 hour 30 minutes ish. Did all the moments, Play rookie vs Rockies in coors, use Mike Mussina at the pitcher for 2 games, load up on red sox hitters, throw in beltre/walker in the lineup and do work.
