Man, Chucky, you are pretty hard on yourself eh?Being frustrated with flaws in the game does not make you “soft”.
There’s no medals given for being the most stoic video game loss taker!

@halfbutt
Mr. Madison, what you've just said is one of the most wild things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. I award you no points, may god have mercy on your soul.
-
@chucky97___
You do you, I guess.
Nobody is keeping score, so points are kinda moot. -
Happened to me today in an Event game. Up 2-0 going into the bottom of the third two bloop hits both behind first base, home run lose 3-2. Other player hadn’t even sniffed contact the previous innings. Knew it was going to happen after the second one fell in.
-
The bloops are so painful.
I personally dread the one animation where the ball is just out of the shortstop’s reach. You know he should have it but it’s going to drop in, and a game tying or winning home run is on the way.Somehow, your pitcher will not be able to find the plate, and you will groove one.
-
@halfbutt
Yep, this does happen a lot. The SDS apologists will defend it as “just baseball” to death but anybody that has played this game for any length of time knows it’s like watching a train wreck in slow motion and you can’t do anything to prevent it.

@amendoza616
Sounds like you just need to take a break. Sometimes we get so frustrated when we lose, or we see the 'comeback logic'.
I took a break during Set 3/Set 4, didn't play that much at all in August/September, Came back and did everything just about in Set 5 and enjoyed it again. Started to get too worked up/competitive, so i had to stop with the late night gaming. Pay attention to yourself and take care of your mental health.
. This game is CHESS. That's why we love the show. In the end, you still gotta get your PCI reasonably close. You might just need to play some Spiderman 2, string together a few combos, feel good about it, then check back in on your team, but with more calm, reasonable expectations.
-
Oh my! Karen energy from some of these tin foil hat dudes is impressive. Snowflaking isn’t the way children.

@halfbutt its a billy madison quote.

@xElRojo44x said in I'm DONE with this game.:
Because learning how to deal with that emotionally, and not allowing those things to get to you, will only make you mentally tougher.
Love it. I've rage quit, destroyed controllers, and flung them across the room many times, and yet, i've learned to actually pause the game, calm down, and start thinking logically. Is there a pattern to my pitches, what's he doing that i can counter. It's Chess, that's all it is. Take breaks during the game, do what you can to calm down.

@Genxrelic1965
There is something to be said about giving up 2 hits; and emotionally 'grooving one'. That happens ALL THE TIME. 2 bloop hits, dude gets made, I'M LITERALLY WAITING FOR HIS EMOTIONAL BREAKDOWN PITCH, BANG!
-
@halfbutt
THIS IS WHY WHEN YOU GIVE UP 2 BLOOP HITS, DO A MOUNT VISIT IMMEDIATELY! Get his confidence back up and he will spot pitches again.
-
In 3 inning event games, with the way pitcher fatigue hits so quickly, and the hitting quirks in the game don't be so quick to blame DDA and comeback logic fellas.
-
@chucky97___
Ha! Copy That. I don’t even know what that is! -
@ANF_GOLD99
Mound visits do help, for sure, but even that or bringing in a new pitcher isn’t necessarily going to help.Are there counters? Definitely. Is the game turning the screws to create drama? Definitely.

@EzMack
You realize that is classic gaslighting, right?
