Played as the Twins vs Seattle, Berrios pitching. Perfect game through 8. Top of the 9th, guy grounds out to short. Next batter strikes out. Final (hopefully?) batter - weak ground ball to 2nd, Rosario (yes, my fault I didn't sub him out) throws it off the mark. E4. Perfect game ruined. K the next batter looking for a no hitter.

I love when the manager calls for you to steal with your 28 speed 1B, especially when the situation does not call for it. Then, when you get thrown out, you get yelled at to never steal again.

From Brooks baseball (which tracks pitches)
"In 2019, he relied primarily on his Fourseam Fastball (98mph) and Slider (85mph), also mixing in a Sinker (100mph). He also rarely threw a Change (88mph)."
There are plenty of unrealistic sinkers, Chapman isn't one of them
Did he have a sinker prior to this last 'update'?
Because I've also saw that LS Rich Gill and LS Dustin Mays now have 4 and 5 pitches, respectively; but up until last week they had 3 and 4 pitches.
If pitches juat magically appear; who know what else SDS does to a player?
In past years they have made many changes to players...update attributes, change teams, add to FA pool...all based on real life. This year has obviously been different because of the pandemic, but soon we'll see changes.
Not sure if you're new to The Show or not, so sorry for SDSplaining if you're not new.

I like to sim seasons, especially with rebuilding teams. So I chose the Tigers, as they are in limbo.
I got rid of Cabrera's albatross of a contract, made a bunch of trades to rebuild their farm system, signed a few free agents to short term contracts...and won the Central with the 2nd best record in the American League! The Twins and Cleveland were 4th and 5th, respectively. What an odd year!

I believe there is an option when you start a new franchise...but I could be wrong.

I see three other 97s so far. Calm down.

Anyone else notice that there are a TON of SS prospects? It seems like every team has at least two A or B potentials, and young (18-21).
-
Why? It's a part of baseball. While some trades don't make sense (the Twins' Wander Javier was traded for a rated 52 [C potential] 1B in my RTTS), trades do happen IRL that don't seem to make sense as well.

Get lucky with packs, or work the market and save.

Pulled a Strasburg in my "free" preorder 20 pack. I was like "holy [censored], holy [censored]" and my fiance was reminding me that this is a video game.
They never understand our happiness lol
Especially when they hate baseball.
