I quit before the WBC exploit but their response (or lack thereof) would have caused me to walk away. For me it was the blatant lies they told prior to release. They said mini seasons stat tracking and PCI shrinkage were fixed. Neither were. Then they doubled down on the shrinkage issue by giving a BS reason why it exists in the game. Add on that they refuse to fix things that were broken in previous games (lineup screen freezing, disappearing logos, etc.) and I can’t support this game anymore. They simply don’t care about their customers or fixing their game.

More on topic, I would have considered myself more hardcore than casual in this game. I didn’t play much online, but I completed every program, wanted to complete every collection, and put hundreds of hours into the game every game for many years straight. I even put a couple hundred into the game at launch to give myself a head start (but most times nothing after that initial purchase). It’s sad what the game has become. I almost didn’t buy it this year but caved at the last minute. There’s absolutely nothing they could do to make me purchase or even play the game next year.

It's a McLaren Sabre. I already had it so not really a big deal to me.

The only issue with what Forza did is resetting everyone's money to a max of $10 million. Some people legitimately had more than that without exploiting anything. It didn't impact me but I would have been pretty upset if it did.

I do appreciate that they acknowledged it was their bad and fixed it quickly. SDS could learn a thing or two from them.

I gave up on the game after the first inning. It's obvious that they have no intention of fixing things that have been broken for years. They said they fixed things that turned out not to be fixed, and with the newer issues I decided I could just live without a baseball game. I was getting burned out on the same tired model anyway. I check the forums occasionally to see if they have done anything, but they obviously haven't and I'm glad I moved on to other games that are more worth my time. I appreciate you all continuing to post the issues so I know not to buy this again next year.

6 was always billed as Xbox/Steam first with Playstation release coming later in the year.

@Onix_Savage22_PSN The playstyle of 6 is very similar to 5, so if you haven't played Forza Horizon in a long time and want to just get back into it you can't really go wrong with buying 5 now. You should still have PS5 only players on there though I'm not sure if they're still updating the festival playlists for it. There's still a lot to do in the game without those so I think it's worth it while on sale. 6 is much better in terms of the map and scenery, but unfortunately you have to wait on it to get to PS5.

@Onix_Savage22_PSN Festivals are basically month long programs that give you different cars and rewards. There are 4 weeks with different races/tasks that reward different things, so if you miss a week you basically miss out unless those festivals come back up later in the cycle. They generally do but it could be a while. When 5 got to ps5 they had a voting system in place where the festival with the most votes was the next one up. I don't know if it was that way in the beginning of the cycle, and 6 doesn't have one up until next week.

All I can find is "later in 2026", so I'm going to guess that's November/December to give Xbox users a good 6 months of exclusivity. I could be wrong about that though.

I hadn't played a Forza Horizon game since 3, so I was really excited when 5 came to the ps5. I played it a ton. I bought an Xbox series X last week so I could get 6 at release, and also play some other games on Gamepass.

Horizon 6 is way better than 5, so if you want to just get one I'd wait until 6 comes to the ps5. If you care about the festivals and anything online you won't really get to enjoy much of that with 5 since most everyone already has or will migrate to the new game. They did a really great job with 6. I've been playing it nonstop since Friday.

You don't have to if you just play the game straight up. The moments, player PXP missions, hits with commons, and 3 games of all commons will get you over the 64 points you need for today.

They didnt bother, they just played a bunch of games with commons for 9 points per

To get errors though, throw low sinkers and intentionally throw in the red on ground balls

A bunch being 4, or one more than your method. I had more fun actually trying to win games with commons, but to each their own.

Then I just needed the PXP mission with Soler and ran a normal lineup for game 4. I finished up the last conquest map for spring breakout while doing it. It took less than an hour, and I didn't have to intentionally suck at the game to get it done. That's the biggest problem I had with this program last year. Very thankful for the repeatable PXP mission with commons.

They should have put the hitter captain first in TA and tied the PXP requirement to them. That way you could chip away at total bases while using that captain for the PXP. As it is now, you basically complete all the pitcher missions to get a pitcher who doesn't advance you any further than just getting the PXP (or the #1 fan path). It seems backwards.

I got Beltran this morning but am still missing 13 now and later packs. I put a ticket in over the weekend. If I don’t get them today/tomorrow I’ll submit another one, I guess.

I am able to play BF6 without issue. I’m in a conquest match right now. MLB is unable to advance past the daily screen, unless you apparently let the game enter a Demo.

MLB has Unhandled Server Exception errors every year like clockwork. It’s BEEN an MLB issue lol

If you'd do a quick Google search you'd see it's a Playstation issue, not just the Show.

It works on everything except for Live Series for me. I don't know if that was how they intended it to be, but I don't understand why they wouldn't have that option for each team when it's in every other collection you can do.

I got 13 of my 26 earlier in the week, but nothing since then and no Beltran. It should not be hard to reference my account on the 25 game, see I have 26 vouchers and completed the Beltran program, and reward everything at one time. I submitted a ticket but so much has gone wrong so far this year that I'm honestly just about ready to move on to other games and put this franchise away for good.

I don't have mine or Beltran either. Hopefully they are getting them all rolled out today.

I got LS Ramon Laureano. Free stubs, I know, but man that was a brutal pull.

I was going through a really bad stretch of not pulling diamonds but pulled Ohtani in a random pack I got through a program yesterday. It's just total chance and up to the pack gods.

@Ledfoot_19_PSN For as much as I dislike many aspects of this year's game I did really enjoy this mini season. That silver Trout, the silver Soto, and gold Jimenez were all beasts. I wouldn't have used them much otherwise, but they were fun to play with for a while.

Randy Johnson will definitely get a better card or two down the line. You can upgrade the current one by parallels up to 5 levels, but other than that non-live series cards don't get upgrades (or downgrades) like the live series do over the course of the year.
