It is that time again... who do I take

Right now I am level 98 silver and I don't know who to take at level 1 gold. Last time I took Reggie Jackson. At catcher right now I have the diamond Gary Sanchez, at second I have my CAP, at shortstop I have Hanley Ramirez, and in my outfield I have Reggie, Cargo and Joey Gallo. I am not sure who to take. I think I am leaning toward Buster Posey or Minnie Minoso.

minnie is probably the way to go. could use some more speed in that lineup. push cargo or gallo to the bench. but i will say i recently chose ryne and first game he went 3/5 with a bomb and two doubles. either way you go, not like ur likely to be disappointed with any of them

Yeah with Gallo's vision he doesn't hit much but when her does it goes far. It is a hard choice.

I'm getting close myself and It's going to be Minnie or Posey. Bench has been great for me and that will likely be the deciding factor.
Does anyone know anything about missions for these guys? They all have an upgraded version of the red 99 diamond

The red diamonds are not from missions, they are from the prestige XP reward path. Posey has been really solid for me, best catcher I have used for the last few years.

Posey can play 1B if you like Sanchez or feel like you should play him because he’s unsellable and it’s a waste. Sanchez makes a decent bench bat though if you have a solid 1B already.

I would go with Posey or Minnie in this situation also. If you happen to play a lot of HOF and don't have great PCI placement, switching Posey for Sanchez or Minnie for Gallo is the way to go. I would lean Posey as there are more solid high vision OF options.

Depends if you value the contact and vision. It really plays this year in my opinion, I strike out a lot with guys like Gallo and Olsen compared to the higher contact guys, but on all star they obviously just hit nukes the majority of the time. I also think you’d be wasting Posey’s defence at 1B, he’s a lot better than Gary defensively.

I took Larkin, I took Sandberg the first go around. I was going to take Reggie but I needed a ss. My infield is set. McCovey 1b Sandberg at 2b larkin at SS, FOF Torress at 3b I also have FOF Turner, Moncada. Sanchez in my C. My OF is Hecderson, Snider, and Carter.

I took Reggie an have only hit one hr with him....I get lindor this past week an already have hit 5 with him....it all comes down to the stance for me more than the ratings I guess...
