If I bought MLBTS 20 standard edition, can I upgrade to the higher ones once online?

Why would you want to upgrade to a 'higher' version?

Game's the same dumpster fire. Only difference is you get packs, stubs, and cards.

Best bet is to wait until it goes on sale for $20 and buy stubs if you want the players.

You can always upgrade, or just spend the money on stubs. Either way you're doing your part to keep the game at its high level.

Just buy stubs if thats the route you're gonna take. Most enticing part of upgrades were early access. After that you really get more value just buying the stubs straight up.
