List of revealed FS cards for TA 2

Anyone know when the Rockies will be announced?

In the case of rolling out inflated prospects then future stars that crush every live series player based on nothing, it’s a vocal MAJORITY. The prospects were fine, doubling down w future stars but is a bit much imo .
Some people will always find reasons to complain.
I didnt hear anyone complaining about Face of Franchise. They were in game day 1 and made the live series versions of each of those cards worthless.
This is the exact same.

The ls card isn’t worthless. It’s still going to dynamically upgrade whenever we get going so it isn’t the same at all

They are far from the same. At least FotF are players that have actually had some success at the major league level (other than maybe Vlad Jr. lmao).
These Future Stars cards are completely ignoring all minor league stats and prospect rankings in favor of pulling attributes and overall numbers out of a hat.
They’re stupid, they suck, and they have no business being in the game right now (if ever).
It’s crazy how people will defend every major screw up this company makes.

@Collin_SDS can we get this thread pinned?

Hopefully they are using a Trilby or Homburg and not just some crappy Fedora.
Although a razor rimmed hat could mean we will soon see a 95 OVR Kung Lao!

This is stupid. I’m determining which FS I’m gonna chase and on paper I’m replacing 3/4 my lineup with “better” players. I don’t even know these names. I feel a lot of motivation is gonna be lost. FS shoulda had FOF attributes and vice versa. SDS being backwards
-
People have made the point that it helps lineup diversity. I know my lineup will be different because I have no desire to get any of these future stars and only a few prospect cards interest me.

And that's ok! You can do as much or as little as you want, freedom baby yeah!

This is their way of releasing monster stat cards without having to pay any royalties to real players. In the end if half these cards end up being 98 and 99 then people will go googoo and Gaga over them and they won't have to pay Reggie Jackson and Mickey Mantle and all these other players royalties. They've started out with these Future Stars cards two or three years ago and this is obviously their pavement for the future. Every year it gets a little more and more in detail. Eventually we'll just have cards with great stats and nobody will care what the name on the front says. Live series cards are already useless unless you are going for collections.
-
These cards are cool, but are any of them going to replace anyone in our lineups at this point?
-
These cards are too good for a bunch of nobodys. Seriously, better than most MVPs in this game. Dumb.
I guess we are on our way to six 99-rated versions of every card. Terrible.
-
FOTF vs LS have quirks to differentiate between them. Also, they're realistic.
When I googled ridiculous speculative stupid nonsense, these cards appear.
-
Dodgers- Brusdar Graderol. Updated the OP with link. Might be the best one revealed so far, as he is very likely going to have Outlier
-
Seriously. A outlier sinker with a 99mph fastball and -16 differential. At least his control is somewhat low. That card is insane.
-
Graderol's LS card has outlier on the sinker so I can only assume his FS card will too. Gonna be nasty. Might have to start grinding out Dodgers affinity.
-
6’1 and 265 lbs?
Quite a hefty lad.
-
This should be a reliever card. Every scouting report projects him to be closer in the future.

These cards don’t follow actual scouting reports, they are very loosely based on reality. I think they are trying to preserve the reliver pool from contamination, with all the new relievers they brought in this year

Just like the Moneyball documentary proved scouts don't actually know anything, this game continues to show that real baseball prospect rating systems are horribly behind the times.
