To everyone saying the Prospects/Future Stars cards are "unrealistic"

Isn't DD an unrealistic mode to begin with? When you have players like Mickey Mantle on the same field as current day players, all realism goes out the window IMO. So what's the point of complaining about "unrealistic" cards? Obviously you're all entitled to your own opinion, but that's just my two cents.

SDS

The reality that they are all on the same field is unrealistic but the Ratings are accurate this is just a cash grab on cards that will never attain the unrealistic ratings they are giving out.

Are the ratings really accurate though? There are plenty of examples of "real cards" that have unrealistic ratings.

Not anymore, that's the problem when they stopped using single season cards. Still, when we're talking about players that have never seen an MLB field being rated 95 it's a little much.

The fantasy aspect is: What would it be like to have Mantle, Reggie, and Judge in the same outfield, in their primes?

It shouldnt be: What would it look like if (insert any prospect) was randomly given hugely inflated attributes and got to hit against (insert any prospect) with hugely inflated attributes?

Why not make every card editable and then everyone can play with 99 rated Fierbrand and 99 rated Ohtani that's maxed out pitching and hitting?

SDS

I’ll take judge w 110 vision

SDS

If we want to inflate beyond reason like w this prospects , for the sake of “diversity” let each user edit one player, some process of moments or missions to add to existing stats like equipment does to a cap. Only one player per user and that is obsiously non transferable. Then I could use Arron judge or mike trout again

SDS

For me, it’s not so much the ratings being unrealistic, but more so the fact that we got prospect cards which almost immediately got replaced by even better versions of the same players for no reason.

Plus I just think they’re boring and lame.

Do you want an Autographed Trout jersey or Fan Favorite of your Favorite team vs an Autographed Prospect jersey who may or may not pan out?

If this was the NBA, I pay to see LeBron not Jared Dudley.

If you look at RL card prices, many of the hottest prospects big cards go for more then a Mike Trout Auto. Wander Franco sold insanely high when he first had cards come out.
