It’s so bad across the board. I’ve stopped playing ranked seasons for the last few days because of it. But even conquest, showdown, and mto I’ve got guys booting [censored] and screwing me royally.

No kidding. I've now lost 3 games with the Yankees in MTO because fielders can't look on. Error after error I had 3 in one game. First baseman dosn't even move just turns his body (error) left fielder under ball nope off the glove, and of course center field off the head (error). It's a complete joke and a unacceptable way to make someone lose.

It seems to have worsened with last update. The other issue issue is after the player blunders the ball (fails to lock on, bounces of their body, etc) then getting the player to where the ball is a difficult task. Player navigation is querky and difficult.

All these “not locking on” complaints I assume are online play?
The times when I’ve dropped routine catches in CPU play (conquest, moments, MTO etc) is when my positioning to the ball has been a bit dodgy. Perhaps not dodgy enough to expect to drop it, but it happens. If your dropping catches enough in these modes, then I reckon if you were honest with yourself you’d admit you’re just not taking a good route to the ball.
I do think there are other issues with fielding, but catching is on you bro. -
