Do you have a personal goal in RTTS?
-
That's a good one - I did hit it in Legend. What are your Speed/Base Stealing ratings?
-
It's low I'm in my first year of minors.
Speed 72 (+15)
Stealing 39 (+12)I'm 8 for 13 on SB attempts.
-
That's not bad - you'll pick up both of those attributes as you go along. I steal bases like crazy (well, I attempt a lot). With my Small-Ball guy, I'm successful about 85% of the time. With my more balanced guys, I attempt less but can still manage 75%. It's all about timing. Watch for when the pitcher takes a huge windup. That usually happens at least once an AB. Good luck!

I'm trying to hit .400, lead the league in runs scored, and steal a lot of bases
-
[censored] .400!!!! I thought my goal was going to be rough.

a barrier constructed to hold back water and raise its level, forming a reservoir used to generate electricity or as a water supply.
That was censored. Geez. -

I’m just trying to break records and win hardware.
-
Update. Rookie I made the 30-30 club. 30 homers (homered the last game) and 32 stolen bases. I got to remember to hit watch when I get on base. That will give me more opportunities to steal. Coach gave me the "Green light". It's like I'm back in high school again.

Nice! 3 years in I made the 40-40 club and the announcers do a nice call-out on that.

Well, I've never finished a career, so I've had that goal for a while. I don't like continuing from previous years, because I like the grind of making to the MLB each year. Tough for my though since I don't want to simulate appearances.
It is tough. In the 2018 version, I played a single player through a full career. I didn't simulate any ABs (after a while I did simulate fielding). It took months. But... it felt like an accomplishment. I played with many teams, including the Red Sox, Yankees, Marlins, Nationals and A's. Won 2 World Series, back to back, with the Nationals. Ended with 802 HRs, played from age 18 to 39.
Also - I did break the all-time record for GIDP. They didn't call it out

They are constantly showing a graphic about how many I've hit into this season. 12 at the All-Star break =\
I had to look up the record. Currently, it's Albert Pujols with 395. I hit into 420 during my career.
-
Just completer my second season. [censored] I can't believe I did that in 4 days. Crazy!!!
Made the 30-30 Club again. 30 homers and 45 SBs. I'm thinking 40 homers. is going to be tough; unless higher contact helps. Right now I'm at 76.
-
Man I'm getting closer. 37 homers and 35 SBs. Man working from home is dangerous. I'm finishing a season as a fielder every 4 days.
-
Trying to get to 99 overall so I can get a bat.

I agree - I'm doing the same... burning through seasons at a record pace.

What perks do you have activated? Also, what equipment do you have? Finally... what archetype?
-
Perks I have:
Homefront, Up in Arms
Road Warrior, Heartwarmer, Fog of War
Ice-Water Veins, Aerial Assault, Nerves of SteelEquipment:
Bryce Harper Maple, Jordan Batting Gloves, Under Armor Flawless Glove, Nike Force Zoom Trout 6, Gameday Armour, EvoShield, Franklin Wrist, Nike Pro Vapor Forearm, Lizard Skins Batgrip, Nike Windsheild Elite, Stance The Show 20, Legendary Call Ritual. The Anomaly.
I just got to figure out how to keep the ball fair on these inside pitches. I'm using Contact swing a lot and surprisingly it's given me more homers than I would have thought. Probably my fault since I can only hit using directional.
