Even if they gave those out, they'd reduce the diamond odds from 50:1 to 200:1, and most of the bs diamonds distributed will be the weak Kershaws, Springers and Altuves...which shouldn't even be considered diamonds at this point.
While I certainly don't look gift horses in the mouth and thus cheerfully accept Diamond cards of any level when they come my way, to your point I suggested a year or two ago that the Diamond level be split as it covers too many overall ratings, a wide spectrum of trade-in/sell value.
One solution which would work, I think...
Tin: 0 to 59
Bronze: 60 to 69
Silver: 70 to 79
Gold: 80 to 89
Platinum: 90 to 94
Diamond: 95 to MaxA system like the one above would solve the issue of the current "low" Diamond cards being inflated Gold cards while also differentiating the very top level into two smaller segments to represent the wide variety in value between Diamond cards which are only a few slots apart.
What do you think?
Anything is better than this current system at this point, I could even work with diamonds being 90 to max

I deserve a 5 pack for beating the pre patch Jackie moments

And suuure enough, I BUY a 10 pack and after my world breaking Altuve pull who do I get??? You guessed it, Mr. playoff choke himself Kershaw and his weak 6k value. I swear this lame studio trolls us to no end, don't even give me a lame diamond if it's going to be that weak mess. They can only do this because they have no competition in baseball games. RBI Baseball needs to be bought re-skinned and re-purposed to MVP 2005 caliber to compete with this lazy studio. How many years have they had to get this game right, same recycled garbage year to year and they still can't get it right, pretty sure this is by design at this point
