I get jazzed when Rankedy McRankerton (who only plays Ranked) and Flippy Flipperton (who only flips cards) have to play the Lima Lemurs.

I play similarly I think. Love conquest & mini seasons, but I also play A LOT of events. Occasional BR, some Ranked, but always Weekend Classic. Idk why, but Weekend Classic is more chill for me than Ranked hahaha (probably because it doesn't count on your record)

It seems we do play pretty similar. Except I don't like Events. I played WC for the first time over the weekend it was only 3 games and won all 3 games . I enjoyed playing WC, not only because I won but because it was super chill, it didn't feel sweaty. Definitely going to play more next time.

Part of me not playing a lot of Ranked is I'm always "on call" because I play when my kids sleep. And my wife has the newborn, and the 3-year old is my responsibility. So he's woken up tons of times mid-game and I've had to quit. So 3-inning games or games that don't go on your record are just easier and less stressful for me.
The only issue with this though, is if you don't play a Ranked game during a season, you get put in the lowest WC bracket. And then you only match up with others in that bracket, and if your rating is somewhat higher (or you keep winning games) it takes awhile to find an opponent. Like right now I think I'm 710 or so, playing in the 0-399 bracket, so it takes AWHILE to find a game for me. Because basically it will find someone around your rating who also didn't play Ranked during the season (and that's rare the higher you're rated).

Man, Rangers fan have it rough!
39 days and counting since they got a drop. If they don't get a card this week, they will take the lead for the longest drought in the game this year.
They are currently at 39 days, and the longest streak of the year is the Brewers with a 43-day streak back in May.
Im surprised they didnt drop a 2023 ALCS Adolis Garcia, they love that guy. Heim as well.
