Anyone seen actual odds on Bobby Witt?

Says 522 players have acquired the card.
Still 1M stubs, still none available, 60 orders at a million stubs.
Oh dear.
Does that include the people who have acquired THE SAME card?
Like I bought mine, but it's actually the same card as whoever sold it to me. So does that count as 1 or 2?How's he been playing? I've been enjoying the new Wagner personally but Witt is fun and has a nice swing.

That’s crazy. It’s like a chase card with worse odds. Strange experiment this time of year.This is a test run. The more money people spend, the more we'll see this.
The SDS2K era is about to begin. Get your wallet ready.

The double I expected to leave, but ended up being more of a lower line drive than it should have been.
Love the swing, will try him online... hopefully during WC (struggling to play a full 9 innings online with my schedule, so have been sticking mostly to events lately).

If so, even scarier how hard he is to find.
I've got spare stubs, but might just buy Jimmy Rollins instead.

Something isn’t adding up. Says 617 have acquired it, but over 3,000 have it to P1. So I guess it does count as 1 time but seems strange the each card has been passed around so much that 3,000+ have it p1 before selling. And like 900 p2.

I’ve always been surprised over the years that SDS did not go down this road earlier. Kind of proves that they are incompetent compared to the rest of the industry.
I’m guessing they did not hold out based on how much they love their fanbase.

Weird.
I wish someone from SDS would actually explain all this for us.
Never seen such a confusing system. -

Never seen such a confusing system.People can get it to P1 in places like BR without actually owning him too. Albeit I'm not sure how many people play br anymore lol

@NotesOfJohn_PSN
As long as there are 1M stub bids you'll never see one "available" as they're being sold to a bidder. -
@Ch-76-1908_PSN Yeah, true.

Will this Bobby Witt Jr card be a requirement for the November collection?

I wouldn't think so.
They'd face the biggest backlash they've ever seen if they included it. -
@notesofjohn_psn
I think (and hope) you’re right. I would be super disappointed if they did that. -
Hopefully they don't make you have the finest Babe Ruth card for collections
-
I'm not as concerned with Witt it would be a bad look even so but what I am the most concerned with is Finest Ruth and Prime Rollins. If you need either one of those it would put the final collection out of reach for 99% ( I know that's a percentage I pulled out of my @ss but it can't be far off)of the plater base. At least the Witt there is a way to obtain him through packs.

450K people have Pavin Smith (the last Topps Now card that is earned by 5k experience with any player)
there are less than 3K Rollins in circulation
-
Witt, Rollins, Babe - they will not require these cards for collections. People think SDS is some sort of monster. They’ve been very nice about the collections - letting you skip quite a few cards.
The rare cards with only a few thousand in circulation, they would never require them to gatekeep a big collection.

Collections are significantly less 'nice' than they were in 2023 and 2024, but I do agree that I doubt they require these cards. For now.

For now.
Every new collection I hold my breath that SDS continues to play nice. The way things are going we are always one collection away from not being nice.

I don't think they are monsters but I think they are looking for new ways to increase revenue and unfortunately that crosses into being anti consumer.
As long as those ultra rare cards stay as novelty items and that's it I'm fine with it.
I would never purchase any card for a million stubs. You would automatically lose stubs especially if the card isn't needed for a collection or if the card isn't as good as one thought it was going to be. Can't sell it, one would take a 100k stub hit.
