I’d love to see Road to the Show get a proper World Series ring ceremony in the following season after a championship. If your team wins the World Series, the next home opener should show players receiving their rings, raising the championship banner, highlighting the previous postseason run, and recognizing the World Series MVP. For players who build long careers and dynasties in RTTS, that would make winning championships feel much more meaningful.

I’d also like to see more former Red Sox stars added to the Legends pool. Josh Beckett should definitely be considered, especially because of his postseason history and his role in the 2007 Red Sox championship. It would also be great to see more players from different Red Sox eras represented so RTTS and other modes can feel more connected to the history of the franchise.

Some legends I’d personally like to see added or brought back include Josh Beckett, Curt Schilling, Dustin Pedroia, Jason Varitek, Tim Wakefield, Jonathan Papelbon, Kevin Youkilis, Nomar Garciaparra, Johnny Damon, Manny Ramirez, and more classic Red Sox players from the 2004 and 2007 championship teams.

It would also be great if adding a Legend included their authentic batting stance or pitching motion, so RTTS players could use those animations when creating their own player. Josh Beckett’s windup, for example, would be a great addition.

These kinds of presentation and Legends updates would make long-term RTTS careers feel much deeper and give players more ways to celebrate franchise history.

Every team wants more of their legends but Boston is not in bad shape.

Right now, Boston has the 3rd most unique legends in the game. The are 2nd in HOF Players in the game. They are 2nd in Unique HOF players in the game (even more than the Yankees)

    Pedroia
    Veritek
    Damon
    Ramirez

Are all actually in the game this year.
