ALDS Postseason Cards

I understand the desire for a JRAm card but if we have paid attention to the previous series, we should know that we are not getting a premiere player for free, especially when the team is still in it.
-
@Dolenz_PSN Absolutely, but they're getting to a point where people are starting to go 'meh' when they see these programs because for the most, they're not big names and even when they are, the cards are underwhelming.
I completely understand holding back some cards, but they're treading a very fine line by constantly giving us underwhelming postseason cards because some will just not bother.
Cards like Manny Machado (91 vision in Oct on a Manny?), Willson Contreras (80 vision?), Ray Kerr (80/92 K/9 despite his performance) are just unnecessarily bad for this time of year, and why? It makes no sense.
Either give us big names or juiced cards, but you can't do neither.

I saw a video that showed cards are noticeably worse this year compared to last year. This was done on purpose to incentivize players to parallel cards up instead of them just being solid at launch.
Anything to drive player engagement even if it begins to feel more like homework to actually enjoy a card. They shouldn’t have to be parallel 5 to be usable, especially at this point in the year.

Wait, the reward, Patrick Bailey, has one quirk? That is certainly a choice in mid October.

The cards being worse than last year is completely fine, the game could desperately use a reduction in card power.
There really should be more big names in programs though, I feel last year had a better balance for that

@NotesOfJohn_PSN The Manny card is dreadful.
-
All of these cards are pretty useless, except for maybe a few bullpen arms.
But if they give us awesome cards, isnt that worse? Like, do you want these cards to just be better than the cards you worked forever to get in your lineup? Just given to everyone for free?
Here's what would be cool...if I had to work to get some new Guardians cards because I needed to build a full Guardians theme team....and then play online with that team for other rewards.
All these rewards could have value...they could be important to get and use.
But, the game doesnt ask you to do any of that. After about June, theres no goal anymore - nothing to build, nothing to work on.

Yes, i absolutely do want these cards to be great.
It's the middle of October, the only draw left for many is juiced cards and i've never been one to bogart cards.
I hope everyone has collections done, regardless of how much i grinded to get it. -
Let's just give everyone 125's across the Board.
I look at this card and wonder how much more people want? Over 100 in every offensive attribute. They did not even skimp on his Vision. More power than the Pujols Collection card. He is the only Catcher in the game with 99 Fielding and 99 Pop time.

We still have World Series Cards and Series MVP cards to come. We have Finest Series still ahead and Legends that still need 99 cards. Just how much better do you want these cards to be?

drag bunt only 61, unplayable

I think they "juiced" cards too early in the yr. They should have held it back a bit for playoff time. I feel the cards should get progressivly better as the yr goes on to reward the people who stuck it out all yr and are now reaping the benefits. Only cards ive liked from postseason is Sale, Meidroth, and there are like 2 others. The retro has a few good one like Santander but then i hear Berkman is better (havent tried him yet). Plus everyone is watching the playoffs so everyone sees who is killing it.
