New Program - Subway Series Card Reveals
-
@rageincage007_XBL what wouldn't be a snooze fest though? They cant give you better cards than you already have (if you've done the previous content). This is the problem with a cycle that basically gives you all endgame stuff halfway through the baseball season.
-
I don't dislike the art, but why not just use the Topps cards directly?
-

Somebody is always going to claim every release no matter how good or bad is a snooze fest.
-
You frequent a forum for a game you no longer play?
-
Will this Jeter card be good enough to have people (including myself) put Tulo on the bench? I have always loved Jeter's swing but Tulo's power? Man, I don't know?
-
@GodShammGod2_XBL I still like the community doubt I’m completely done for year just taking a much needed break.
-
@DrBear100_PSN lol, the answer is no - I've had pretty much the same god squad for a month and a half. Theres no reason to bench anyone...are you replacing Andruw? Beltran? Belli? VMart? Adley/Varitek?, Tulo?, Miggy/Pujols?. The answer is no, unless you just wanna try a different card for fun (which is fine and I support that...but ain't no good reason for it)
-
So, is this just the 4 cards and an uncollected collection like the Field of Dreams?
-
Ahh got it
-
@GodShammGod2_XBL I’ve just been playing a lot of the new 2k lately.
-
This game is never an either/or game for me as I am always bouncing around between games. Keeps it from getting stale.
-
Making the chase card a part of the theme paying tribute to 9/11 is some icky, icky stuff.
-
@NotesOfJohn_PSN shocker not like I called him or Bernie or anything
sds to obvious. -

Who is it?
-
@x-814-x-MAFIA-x_PSN posada.
-
Well at least my end game catcher is part of this drop, even if he's 600K stubs. Now I just need Griffey soon.

Its not paying tribute to 9/11, its for the Subway Series which starts tonight.

From what I can see they avoided mentioning 9/11 entirely except for the 1 moment included (Piazza Homerun).
I can see why others think it is a 9/11 tribute since they only seemed to use players that played for those teams in that year.
Either way it is a program I won't complete as all the missions require you play with Yankee/Mets. I have sold every sellable legend and flashback card that I have gotten for those teams.

You can just do the conquest and that completes the program on its own.

Then maybe I will. I had not looked that closely yet
