Chapman showdown

If it’s on HOF you take pitches and use patience. Also draft all right handed hitters.

I’ve been saying, since day one, that SDS should cater the game to the thumbless. It’s not fair that all you can easily access the best cards in the game and I have to hope I can get a walk with the bases loaded.

I mean dude hof is not that hard, I think most people could do it if they put a little effort in. Problem is most people just want the shiny new thing, and having one challenge all year to obtain one card would not be bad. As I said, he has a 98 that’s amazing, you still have that! All-star showdowns are not even challenging for a lot of people
I agree.
If i could solve PCI placement, I'd play on it more. It's beyond frustrating to have not figured it out yet. -

How can you play the game with no thumbs?
Real thinker right here.

I think things are pretty balanced as they are in the game.

There are benefits to being a better player and playing on higher difficulties beyond the obvious ranked season and weekend classic rewards.
DiamondQuest is geared towards better players as the odds are pretty bad if you play at the lower difficulties.
Playing online and playing at higher difficulties can net you significantly better PXP (allowing you to get PXP missions done faster), better XP (quicker progression in the main program and more wheel spins). You may be able to do the "extreme" content when it is released.
So there are benefits built in already for being better players. There are enough cards that casuals may never get (looking at collections) so I am not sure that there needs to be even more.
We all paid the same price for the game.

@sbchamps17_NSW not every card should be obtainable for every single person. It doesn’t have to be everyone gets the card or we riot. Every game has exclusive rewards
I like what they do on the 1000 rated rewards. The actual base cards are obtainable but the other ones you have to earn.
While I don’t have any trouble with HOF and getting this card, I do think for people who can’t physically get it should at least be able to buy it off the market. Even if it is insanely expensive.
-
@sbchamps17_NSW sorry yes. But they made the degrom sellable so you’ll have that
-
Hall of fame is pretty hard, if you're not a seasoned player. The only thing thats a bit "easy" is Showdown usually gives you a ton of outs - and stealing 2nd is free, so you should never ground into double plays.
I love offline modes incentivizing people to play HOF and harder challenges. The xp boost isnt any incentive at all. I dont have any objection to there being alternate ways for less good players to get the cards (longer grinding ways).
Offline modes could actually be fun for everyone, if you do it right.
-
@Bridge-Piece_XBL then it wouldn’t be exclusive. The people who earned the card worked for it. There shouldn’t be an issue with exclusive cards like this.
-
Instead of a showdown … put cards like this in a diamond quest. Let them be sellable… the really good players will get them right away and make Stubbs , the really bad players will either wait until the market floods and price drops or they’ll eventually get in from quest through lower odds but maybe having to try a few times.

100% agree. Gatekeeping cards is the most ridiculous thing ever. Anybody in favor of it needs to find something besides a video game to build up their ego.
