This Friday is another Roster Update. Who are you looking at or what are you expecting?
-
@MarioMendoza935_XBL I did the same, plus I bought 20 McGonigles also. Waiting for them to go up.
-
And I am sitting on 22 or so Jordan Walkers. First time I ever tried to invest, and it has not gone well.
-
Hope so! I have 19 of them that I purchased at 50 stubs each.
-
Huge Devers upgrade.
What are you expecting when you say Huge?
-
I'm hoping 80 to 81.

Possible but it probably depends on how he performed vs lefties in that span as those are the attributes holding him back the most

I now have 24. If he goes to an 81
He went to 83! I'm loaded!

Did they ever do a defensive update/downgrade this year like they’ve done in the past?

An extremely minor cherry picked one. Not anywhere near as comprehensive as they have in the past.
-
Anyone know if this is the last regular roster update?
-
Who knows. If it is I will just shake my head over Jordan Walker ending the season as an 81. He is 2 HRs and one stolen base shy of being a 30/20 guy (with 100 RBIs to boot).
Who else is an 81? Cal Raleigh.

I would like them to change the way they determine atrributes in the future. So many don't make any sense especially pitchers to me. I know they use certain statcast like data to determine certain stats but it has to be more than that. For an example Ian Happ is considered an elite fielder who has won four straight gold gloves in LF. Yet he is complete garbage in the field in his attributes.
Walker's hitting attributes don't make sense either especially his consistency most of the year and batting average which is tied for 24th righ now.

It's nice to see Nolan McClean make it to Gold status, at least!
I had the 20 limit almost all season, expecting him to possibly hit Diamond.
It won't happen this season, so maybe I should just sell the Golds?
