Is Sept Spotlight Drop 1 the one where a bunch of people will be disappointed?

With so many September callups and Rookies getting the First hit/rbi/win/etc there are just not going to be enough Topps Now cards to go around.
Just for the Cardinals Leo Bernal got a Topps Now for his first hit a 2 RBI Double.
Today Cooper Hjerpe pitched 4 perfect innings with 6 strike outs and got the win in his First start. On the Spotlight front Thomas Saggese batted .533 for the week with 3 HRs, 7 runs scored, 8 RBIs and 2 stolen bases and only trailed Rafael Devers in WAR by .1
I just figured with all of the callups there will be a lot of gamers expecting the rookies for their favorite team to get a Topps Now card. I am expecting a whole bunch more "What About..." posts since SDS limits themselves to 5.

The Topps Now cards are fun so I don't know why they limit them so much. This could be a cool part of the game, but they go through the motions with it like they are just fulfilling an obligation. I wish they would embrace this more and have some fun. Give us more of these fun type cards of call ups and big games for guys that likely will not get a card elsewhere.

@pinola7223_PSN I agree. I’ve said this for years. They only use a fraction of the Topps Now cards. I’d like to see more. Overall though, this years content has been better than most years.

At this point in the cycle, I'd love a "Topps Now" event limited to LS and TN cards.
Heck... I'd like any event with some interesting restrictions.

Unless the player is already getting other cards then all TN cards should be released.
They really should split TN from spotlight, and move it back to its own day of the week like it was a few years ago. They could even give Topps Now its own affinity program.

I've given up on the show to recognize the Season Chase Burns is having. In my opinion they randomly pick players that they like and are still salty that the Reds made the playoffs last year over the Mets and Padres.

Unless its the Dodgers and Yankees I think all fans of teams feel annoyed.
You mentioned the Mets, but
-Peterson did not get either an All Star or Topps Now card last year, and was not recognized ever for being one of the top 30 or so pitchers in baseball for a year and a half before he returned to earth
-Brazoban was (I think) the best performance in WBC to not get a card, nor was he given one during his strong season this year
-Luke Weaver had back to back 0 ERA months, including one month where opponents had a .028 batting average. No spotlight
-Pete Alonso? Brandon Nimmo? Jeff McNeil? All ignored so far this year with Mets flashbacks although they were popular players and the core of the team for the last 7 years
-Jeff McNeil never got a card higher than a 97 even though he had 2 seasons over 5 WAR, 2 all star appearances, hit above .310 5 times and had a batting title. But they were quick to give him an As 99.
-1986 Mets have ONE legend

@Teak2112_MLBTS
SDS thinks its ok because they gave us 3 Carson Benge cards
