Rage quits should be punished

Not letting a home run land before closing the game or powering off the console is a real issue in the community. When the loser does this they are actually stealing progress that their opponent has rightfully earned. They shouldn’t be able to steal from others without repercussions.

You're right it should be, oh wait sds is to busy NOT fixing the broken shrinkage on just about any pitch now, the broken exit velocity on change ups, oh and ofcourse not banning cheaters. Oh but yes any TOS violation hurting the profit margins will not only be banned for 3 years (not saying they shouldn't be), but now we are even gonna tell streamers (who are basically keeping are game alive) what they can and can't say on a private channel they don't pay for.

Streamers are a very small portion of the community. You’re giving the professional whiners too much credit.

Content creators maybe a small portion of the community but they have had done a large amount of damage to this game.

FYI - if you ever play any Ps gamer with a tag that starts with “temp” there is a high probability of dashboarding. Their name is “temp” because it used to be something racist so they are going to have low IQ and short fuses to anger.

@OG_SANDLOT_PSN Frankly, if you don’t like the whiners, don’t watch or listen to them. The same situation works on YouTube. People complaining about the system don’t get my business.

@beatlesnews_MLBTS I couldn’t agree more. I’m GenX. Most of us don’t fanboy talking heads with homerun entitlement. I’m not a fan of cheaters, whiny mamas boy cunts, or thieves. Many of us don’t have all day to play a video game. When I sit down to play… I take my lumps when losing. You can always learn from a loss. Many times I pull off a late inning comeback because I didn’t give up and righted the ship. There’s zero reason , other than being an over emotional, sensitive simpleton, to quit before the ball lands. Dashboarders should suffer consequences for stealing time, stubs, and xp….

The best solution has been given to SDS for years now. Just ensure that the game code recognizes the loss of connection, and awards the remaining online player not only the victory, but also the net result of all plays in progress. At least in this way, the rage quitter is denied even the cheap satisfaction of denying the statistical accomplishments that his opponent earned.
Anything past these actions is ill advised, because there is no way for SDS to determine if the loss of connection was intentional or from forces beyond control of the party that lost the connection.
