Jimmy rollins

Likely not much as he as an end game leadoff hitting shortstop with a sweet swing, maxed out speed, excellent defense, and enough power to hit plenty of home runs. Guessing he will hover around 800K for the foreseeable future.

Weekend Classic All-Star card
-
Yeah I think he'll likely stay expensive for a while, unless they somehow change up how he's earned. But if they treat it just like the Miz card it'll be pricey for quite some time.
-
There are ten similar options and Rollins is short, so he is less ideal than a lot of the other options. I think he is cheaper than MIZ after next WC.
-
I would personally rather use Tulo and I really like Made. I don’t steal bases because I think it’s for bums, so maybe my opinion is different.
-
Last year, the Jason Dominguez Spooky card was released as a Weekend Classic leaderboard reward on Halloween. Next Classic around, they gave the card out like candy and I picked him up for a half mil.
Miz and Rollins are high now. But give them a couple more cycles and they’ll be as cheap as Milestone PCA
-
@MadDogTannen777_XBL The difference is the Miz card wasn’t even better than the free lightning card he already had. Jimmy is probably the best SS currently.

I agree with you. Something will happen to tank the prices.

There are also 9 switch hitting shortstops with similar hitting stats that are not short.
-
I have most cards in the game. If Rollins were even close to the best SS in the game, I would have bought him.
I did not. Tulo clears big time, and so do a few others IMO. -
@Bridge-Piece_XBL I would much rather Jimmy or Made than Tulo.
-
@WolfgangMLB_XBL You make it sound like him being short is a bad thing. Jimmy always plays above his rating. He’s my favorite card every year when his 99 comes out.

We are talking about the price. I think the fact that there are other options will impact the price.
A lot of people do not like hitting with short players although you are a fan.

-
@WolfgangMLB_XBL that’s new to me. I’ve never heard people say they dislike hitting with a smaller strike zone. I do see what you’re saying about other good shortstop though.
-
@Bridge-Piece_XBL I would much rather Jimmy or Made than Tulo.
I’ve never been a monster with Jimmy and Tulo’s attributes are better for how I play. Switch hitters don’t matter as much to me.

Tulo is a beast. I seem to hit better alternating righties and lefties with no more than two switch hitter sprinkled in.
It feels like(with the exception of V Mart and Beltran) here lately most switch hitters hit way better from one side of the plate than the other. I am going back to alternating handiness. Except I'm finding that putting two power lefties in the 4 and 5 holes you can do.some damage.

The thing thats mind blowing to me is, when we see a card with a stub value like this and think about what it would cost in actual real life money.
At least 830k right now, thats almost $600 in stubs! No wonder why people are buying 3rd party stubs! This goes the same with live series judge and ohtani!

By the way any sarcasm you may have sensed from me was directed toward SDS for dropping so many switch hitting shortstops.

Same situation from last year?
