You are the reason the game is trash
I am not.

Timing needs some tweaking
I don't know if it needs tweaking, or just being reset to how it was for 25. This year the timing windows feel out of whack, they don't make sense.
In general the CPU throws way too many balls on the black or outside the zone. The amount of dots is not remotely realistic when these are 5th starters throwing them up
I get a TON of 3-0 counts...only to watch the CPU's bronze LRP dot the black of the black three straight pitches.
I do on occasions get impatient and start hacking because sometimes it seems I don't get anything to hit for multiple at bats
Story of my life. Especially on 3 ball counts...my years of actual playing in HS, college, and even the industrial men's league I played in taught me "on 3-0 counts unless it's a heater red dead center, leave it". When the CPU's common 5th starter suddenly becomes Greg Maddux, you almost have to swing at it

Cpu pitching has been the most frustrating part of this year for me. Almost all pitches being out of the zone or barely scraping the zone is frustrating. It's not the difficulty so much as the amount of extra time it takes. I've been doing 9 inning mini-seasons and the games are taking 35-40 minutes whereas I used to be able to do a 9 inning vs cpu game in 20-30 minutes.

3 inning any mode game is a sweaty sweat fest.
Playing 7 game 9 inning mini season games feel a little better first inning or two can feel a little sweaty but as the game wears on it seems that rng starts evening out and it doesn't feel as sweaty.

Not to mention how they rob of you hits when you do square up the ball. Its all designed to halt progression and buy stubs. Cpu fielders all have 99 ability and 99 overall speed also. Big scam and a joke

I've noticed the halting part so much with online when needing one HR to finish an event objective. That last HR will take games no matter how many good perfect swings. Then I finally get that HR and I'll go on a roll even with bad swings (or the opponent dashboards so I'm stuck with 1 left lol).

Believe it or not, the place where you put your pci determines where the pitches are being thrown. Pay close attention to where the pitching is in different pci locations

Can you explain that a little more? Like when cpu pitching to you, if you anchor your pci somewhere, it influences the pitch location?

Try it in a few places. When I am trying to hit a HR in the event tasks, I lock my pci at the top center and most the pitches come in high and I can usually get the HR quickly. Sometimes with a RH batter, I lock the pci top right and wait to pull it slightly to the left. Try locking your pci in different positions and see where the pitches are thrown. -
Games it is what it is , the place that it’s super annoying is when the pitchers in moments constantly pitch around a hitter that needs extra bases , home runs or total bases. Cannot remember how many times I’ve swung at [censored] trying to avoid being walked because it’ll fail the moment objective
