Cover Athlete (Standard Edition)

Exactly what @jacob151167_xbl and @onix_savage22_psn said, it's temporary for the Ernie Clement splash screen, eventually they'll go back to Judge the real cover athlete of the game. Clement is the cover takeover player then it'll go back to Judge. Doesn't matter what edition you get duluex or standard, it'll be Clement then eventually go back to Judge

@sbchamps17_NSW Bro, how does this make any sense when answering the question I asked, "The only real choice is to get a physical disc/case and print a Clement cover."? I've never asked about the cover art in any capacity. The cover athlete is (theoretically) going to appear at the boot up screen, true. BUT what does obtaining a physical copy have to do with my question???
Also, if you take a look at MLB 21, 22, 23, 24 etc., you'll see that some of the cover athletes or art actually differ from one edition to the next. They haven't changed those to Vladdy, Jazz Chisholm Jr. or Tatis Jr.. And so, for those WITH a different cover athletes, my question simply is: Is the Splash Screen (for MLB 26) going to be Ernie Clement OR Aaron Judge.
My question isn't complicated, but you're all focusing on the cover art of the premium versions. While I'm asking whether the actual Splash Screen FROM the game will be Ernie Clement when it comes to the Standard Edition, OR will it be Aaron Judge which is NOT on the Standard Edition cover? They will NOT be removing Ernie Clement as a cover athlete, otherwise they would have done so for EVERY single iteration of the games I mentioned. And they haven't!
Also, Cover Art does NOT equal Splash Screen. In theory, the Splash Screen could be (in this case) Ernie Clement OR Aaron Judge, DESPITE what you see on the cover for the STANDARD Edition.

Are you sure the Clement isnt the cover for the Canadian version of the game?

@x-814-x-MAFIA-x_PSN I am Canadian and have had judge and Witt on the cover as well this year. Idk how this guy can’t grasp that it’s a “TEMPORARY” cover. Idk what about the word temporary doesn’t make sense just buy the game and find out.

@iMidevilChaos_MLBTS when I load into the game it’s Ernie but it will only be Ernie for a cpl weeks longer then it will go back to judge. If u can’t understand what we are saying just buy the game and find out enjoy ur 2 weeks of Ernie then it will be back to judge.

I guess you can't grasp of concept that OTHER iterations of the game had different editions WITH different cover athletes and splash screens. -
@iMidevilChaos_MLBTS no I can I’ve played every iteration of the game since the Mauer cover and I’m Canadian if u wanna talk about different iterations having multiple covers I’ve had to buy games with jays on the cover my whole life Bautista twice Aaron Sanchez Marcus stroman. Until I started buying digitally but this clement one is a temporary cover/program in about 2 weeks it’s gonna go back to the original day one cover then before playoffs we will probably get a new cover takeover.
