Glad to see it's not just me- and like I've said before I'm not gonna set the world on fire at the plate but I know what I'm doing...I even switched to Allstar vs CPU so I'm consistently playing at my Online difficulty about two months ago to help avoid being late(which helped immensely)..until the past week or so.

Another post mentioned a tweak in the timing windows and I believe it. Also a noticeable dip in exit velocities. It’s like they saw too many HRs with the new 99s and said we can’t have that so they made some under the hood changes which to no one’s surprise actually made gameplay even worse than it already was. SDS really can’t get out of their own way this year.

I haven't noticed any differences. The game seems to be playing the same as it always has.

It's inconsistent for me, it feels like they timkered with fastball timing. Offspeed I'm dead on but fastball timing feels really rough also I have noticed that cpu throws almost twice as many fastballs/sinkers/cutters depending on pitchers as compared to any other pitch. On Conquest map I saw 10 straight fastballs 5 of them were out the zone, 3 were touched the edge strikes up and away, the other 2 were in the strike zone. 1 took opposite field double other warning track fastball to the pull side.

I struggled in the Field of Dreams event getting good exit velos and my timing was sometimes off. But offline everything has been okay, so I was thinking it was just the stadium not playing well online.

I am also getting CPU pitchers that just stand there for 10-15 seconds and then pitch.

Yeah I’ve noticed that too. Thought my game was frozen. Even stranger considering no one was on base. Weird stuff going on for sure.

@TripleH-4481_PSN I am an older player and the game who has been playing this game almost exclusively over the past 5 years and this is the first year that it has become more of a grind that a relaxing game. Very frustrating.

Yeah I can relate being a bit older myself and having played DD since 2020. This year has been especially bad on so many levels. Starting in 2022 there has been a noticeable decline and it’s picked up serious steam the past couple of years. This year is going to be the last straw for a lot of people.
