Who's bright idea was it to have a Flash Sale, on Chase Packs, AND a Stub Sale at the same time?
Thats like marking an item up 100% and then offering a 50% discount.

Yeah, just logged in. Saw the flash sale. Said, “Finally, card prices are coming down!” Looked at the current market prices and just shook my head.

I have come to the conclusion that I won't allow myself to get Beltran because I am not going to spend 300+k on one card. I will probably just casually grind for stubs and be happy with I have so far. If and when SDS decides to stop squeezing us I'll revisit collections but I highly doubt they will stop. The next collection is shaping up to be even more expensive than Beltran. SDS we need a correction in this market. You all have turned the turnup into a prune, there ain't much left to squeeze.

That is one aspect of this game people forget. You can easily just not do the collections and buy cards you want to use. Probably can easily afford any cards in the game if you play casually and do not participate in collections.

There are 6 Cardinals I need, not counting Pujols. They collectively are going to cost me over a million stubs.
That kind of stub total is kinda hard to come up with as a casual player.

I have LS collection done, Miggy and V-Mart done. I don't feel like spending a fifth of my stubs on one card. I will probably get the spotlight collections done because I like playing with them and will probably start doing theme teams and grinding foam fingers doing mini seasons. I think it'll be pretty cool to say I own all the foam fingers even though they are worthless.

Out of curiosity, did you not have stubs a couple weeks ago when Berkman was 90k and Simmons was 50K?
I do agree with your frustrations, but also think SDS gives away plenty of good players and stubs.
